Richmond Motel and Holiday Park, hotel in Richmond

Offering free Wi-Fi, an outdoor pool and free on-site parking, Richmond Motel and Holiday Park is just 5 minutes' walk from shops and restaurants.

Nice room with a private bathroom and mini kitchen at an affordable price. It has everything I need— a firm, comfortable bed, a good showerhead, and enough hot water. The room is cozy and clean to my standards.

Room for Two, hotel in Richmond

At Room for Two you can take a walk around the beautiful cottage gardens or enjoy a swim in the private outdoor pool.

It is so lovely and spacious and I loved the French country inspired decor throughout the apartment. The fully equipped kitchen allowed me to self cater the whole trip and the heat pump and electric blankets meant I was warm and toasty despite the cold September nights. Cindy was so welcoming and her art and art studio were beautiful! They were very accommodating at moving my visit dates too when I got sick only a few days before I was originally meant to come and had to delay my trip.

It's easy to get around Richmond and there are plenty of shopping and eating options. However I personally wouldn't stay there again, unless you have a specific reason to be there as there's not much to see or do - except for a tour of Pic's peanut butter factory. Avoid the main road out of Nelson as this was heavily congested most of the time.

I am sorry I put the wrong review with the wrong accommodation this accommodation was clean and tidy. Staff were wonderful. Sadly not enough hot water to do dishes in the evening then have 2 showers. Communal kitchen was a bit dirty though. Filthy class growing something in cupboard, 1 of the oven poured out smoke and the other ones seals were hanging out of the door. Had lots on information at the front desk which was very helpful.

The town was easy to navigate, the mall in particular was very compact but full of variety. Everything was easy to get to, very little traffic related delays or issues. The food was all reasonably priced, definiately wish we could have been there longer!

First time visitors to Richmond. Quite a long main Street. Totally surprised me. Loved visiting the Op Shops. All big, clean and lots of people. Lots to see in Richmond. Parks were nice and kid friendly. Went to the Richmond Mall. Enjoyed shopping. I found it easy to drive in Richmond. Went out to the country for a drive. Excellent scenery. Houses appeared to be "different". Saw the oldest pub in NZ. Rained every single day we were there. That was the only thing disappointing about our trip.

Proximity to shopping mall and restaurants was great, a quick walk away. Two supermarkets at the mall. A short drive to Tahunanui Beach which has an amusement park and zoo so plenty of family entertainment.

We enjoyed our stay in Richmond. We could walk to the town centre, through parks and along cycle and walkways from the house. It is well furnished, has a lovely view and the neighbourhood is very quiet. I appreciated the good contact from the host.

Very quiet. Very clean. Good size room. Kitchendoor can be closed so the noise of the refrigerator doesn‘t disturb your sleep. Luggage can be put into the room from the parking lot. Very close to Queen Street restaurants and Richmond Shopping Mall.
