We travelled in vintage car so unfortunately arrive in the dark and left very early to attend a rally start
Would have like to have been able to look around.
Everything was great. Especially the fireplace. Would be a good place to spend a few days while exploring the district. Communications were great too

Nice calm place. Came because children always wanted to stay at a farm. Fantastic host, who had help from to French students. Really Nice for kids to feed alpackas and meet the baby alpackas. Breakfast a bit basic for the Price.

I have never been to Rangiora - although I am a Kiwi and have been to Christchurch many times. Rangiora seemed a vibrant little town with some great little boutique shops - very impressed and very clean. Only wished we had one more day to explore.

Rangiora has boutique shops, pharmacy, banks, lots of grocery options. Petrol stations for gas, diesel, lpg. Town of 20,000 means all amenities. Pool for family, River for dogs or family.
Sea close by for a swim or sunbathe, sunscreen needed.
Mt Grey or Thomas for walks.
The unit was very clean and tidy. Numerous heaters so we were really warm and toasty. The shower had great pressure and the provided a hair dryer that worked really well, not like usual hotel ones that are very weak. The couches were the highlight, they were so comfy and all reclined. Full kitchen facilities made it really easy, and the beds were really comfy, all with electric blankets fitted. Would 100% stay again and recommend.
We were looking for a rural setting close to Rangiora so this was perfect.
All communication was easy & efficient. (Thanks for the slightly earlier check in.)
Brendon had the fire going for us which made the place very cosy, in a spacious building. Everything was 100%
Fresh eggs were supplied for breakfast along with muffins. Such a character setting.
WE WILL BE BACK :)
The breakfast was excellent. As were the lovely little touches of fresh fruit etc. The shower was great also.
Annie was a very friendly hostess, explained everything clearly and ensured we were comfortable during our stay.
We would definitely try to stay here if we are visiting Rangiora again.
Super friendly owners. Very welcoming. Excellent location. Even has a carport for your car and that’s excellent as we were there and it had been frosty overnight. Very clean.
We would not go past this motel if back to stay at Rangiora. It was great.
Friendly staff. And, I know it seems a simple request they had decent coffee sachets. previous stays around south Island had crap coffee. Breakfast was excellent in quality and value.
Hotel next door had great meals.
Renovated stables are now available very comfortable air bnb.The rural vista was lovely after a day of travelling.
A warm welcome and good advice on nearby eatery.
Close to both Rangiora and Kaiapo.
We enjoyed our accommodation, was our second stay here. This Motel is our go to when stopping in Rangiora. Very clean and spacious rooms. Very comfy bed and friendly receptionist.
Was great having a tavern/hotel next door which served good meals which were also value for money. Lovely staff there as well and drinks reasonably priced.
