Nothing at all. The person that gave us the room key was not helpful. The property appears to be used for emergency accomodation. We did not feel safe.

Always dependable for a quiet, comfortable, well organised stay. Own area of the house with separate entry, own bathroom etc. Room well equipped. Includes self serve breakfast options, tea and coffee etc in the room. Room has TV and Air Con. Nice view from large picture window of trees across the road. Quiet area. Parking onsite. Nice towels. Cupboard, hairdryer, iron etc.
BEING so close to Plimmerton beach. Being able to see the South Island so clearly.
Great cafes and walks. Rather exciting to hear several freight trains go pass at speed and a tremendous roar from our room.

It's a nice place and good place to stay to avoid Wellington city traffic when you're making a long trip the following. There's good shopping in Porirua itself and also a good train and bus service into Wellington. There's a good food court at North City. I had a delicious roast dinner.

I was visiting family, it's a nice place to live with quiet streets and a shopping precinct catering for the all the basics. The area is mainly residential although it is surrounded by scenic hills and a beautiful coastline. Staying in the village does allow people either walk to, or leave their car at the nearby station to catch the train into Wellington, avoiding the busy traffic and expensive parking. Its well worth catching the train to Paekākāriki at sunset to enjoy the wonderful views towards Kapiti Island, there are also two excellent museums nearby - the "Southward Car Museum" and "the Wellington Tramway Museum" located at the Queen Elizabeth Park.

The traffic at most times near to shopping malls and c b d is congested at all times if you are planning a trip into Wellington give yourself extra time allowance for the travel as it can be pretty slow going with numerous roadworks construction on main highway this is always a problem in and around Wellington. There are many different food outlets available in Porirua something for everyone. Titahi Bay Beach is a jewel in the crown for a peaceful stroll or explore,

We came for family event at Porirua RSA, so we enjoyed our time with them. That was a great venue friendly people to socialise have fun, good music and loved to dance. Also shopping mall was great had everything we needed.
This was my first time staying with a ‘host’ instead of a hotel, but my daughter and I had a great experience here! The rooms and facilities are clean, modern and comfortable and the host was very kind and welcoming. You are able to lock your room door too which is nice peace of mind when other travellers are staying in the other rooms. The view is stunning to wake up to!! We opted for the breakfast option and really enjoyed our crepes + fruit :) 10/10 would stay again.
I booked the room with the Spa and it was so nice and comfortable and its right next to the mall as well and closer to the supermarkets as well. I enjoyed my stay with my husband and if I come to porirua again I would book this motel again. The room is always clean and thanks to the cleaners and thanks to the staff as well for there help as well. It does not have a view but go out for a walk and you will see some nice views
It was clean, spacious and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful and it’s only a four minute walk to Porirua train station which was very convenient for catching a train to go to a concert in Wellington
A breeze when checking in and out. Close to shopping mall, food places, motorway, easy drive to the beaches and the train station. We attended Homegrown and chose to stay in Porirua.
A friendly host and above expectation for the cost.
The host had obviously made an effort to present the room well.
Close to our business in Porirua and town centre for a meal.
