Warm, cosy and very satisfactory - although it would be good to have a blind on the door to the street so people cannot see in at night with the lights on - and the host was helpful when I couldnt get the stove to work - my bad not very savvy with digital appliances :-)

Warm and cosy (electric blankets) great shower and a comfortable bed. Quiet at night. Greg come and said gudday in the morning when he saw us and gave us some history of Ranfurly.

Lovely quiet town, nice to walk down to "Hayes Engineering Works" and cafe about a 20min walk down the rail trail as well a further 5-10mins walk or quick drive heading towards Omakau too is the famous Bonspiel curling lake. The Gilhirst store has food shopping needs and the Tavern across the road has a great range of food (Meals or Takeaways)
