Check in was enjoyable as we met Luke in the small but luxuriously-decorated foyer. He escorted us upstairs past an eclectic collection of art, to a very comfortable room.
Room has an individual AC unit so we could set the temperature to our own preference. The bed was comfortable, especially the pillows. The bathroom was just lovely, I especially appreciated that the quality of the bathroom products, conditioner etc, are much better than you usually get.
We had a great stay and we dined at Joe's Garage downstairs, appreciating the 10% discount when we showed our room keycard.
Top marks - we would definitely stay here again.

The city and the suburbs offer a great view of Mt Taranaki in all its glory.
The coastal walk is truly beautiful and a must do. The gardens are known to be beautiful and unfortunately we couldn’t fit it in to our short stay. Rewa Rewa bridge was beautiful and the views of the Mountain were spectacular from the bridge.
The state highway 3 and the journey to New Plymouth is also breathtaking.

We loved the location of the Millimium being waterfront and so handy to great cafes shops boutique breweries amd galleries which all we tried were found to be exceptional. Plus we loved the direct access to the board walk to the port past an impressive swimming pool complex then later walked along the pathway in the other direction the Fitzroy beach which had a cafe and outdoor setting on the beach. The whole city seemed safe and attractive and a great place to visit and probably a great place to live.
Really great value for money. The room was very clean and liked having a kitchen sink etc which is more than what you get at a lot of hotels and motels. Really great location, just a short walk to the beach, supermarkets and eating establishments. Would absolutely stay here again.
The general facilities at the hotel are very pleasant and the range of amenities provided in the rooms are quite expansive. Good location close to the boardwalk and a few kilometres from the city centre. The free bicycles and the heated pool absolutely make it worth while.
Very large room, well equipped, comfortable bed,
We enjoyed the heated outdoor pool and the large spa pool. A spacious property. We have in the past stayed at the Novotel as Accor members but this property is better value and we feel gas more to offer
Location was perfect, staff very friendly and accommodating when we went to go get breakfast across the road and left our car in their car park until we got back. , will recommend to friends and family if they were to stay in New Plymouth again.
Beautiful property with views over New Plymouth. The apartment is spacious and comfortable. Use of spa pool is great! Loved Rae’s home made bread and breakfast being provided made life easy. Especially loved Cookie, the dog!
Really nice hosts.Hospitality as is should be.Plenty of tea and coffee sachets not like many other sorry so say asian run motels who dont even service your room. I always stay here for my business trips to New Plymouth
Walkable to town centre, local parks, easy access to roads out of New Plymouth.
Room was spacious, kitchen was fit for purpose and adequately supplied with utensils and crockery. Fridge was quiet.
Tony, Maree and their staff are relaxed, friendly and helpful. The accomodation was comfortable and clean. The location although on a busy road suited us well and is close to central New Plymouth.
The home was very peaceful with great views and the owners were very friendly and helpful. You were able to be in a remote setting while be in the cool downtown of New Plymouth in a few minutes.
Another stay at our New Plymouth regular. We always opt for Auto Lodge when we can and will continue to do so. great value for money. Clean and comfy rooms. Awesome location next to the water.
Location was excellent within easy walking distance to downtown New Plymouth and the water front plus cafes and restaurants. Parking was handy to the hotel and off the street.
A lovely, comfortable motel unit with working spa bath. The cost was a litlle higher than other motels alrhough the spa bath made up for that. Friendly and welcoming staff.
The whole hotel is absolutely beautiful, probably one of the nicest hotel rooms we have ever stayed in.
Will definitely be booking again next time we are in New Plymouth.
