Location was great close to everything. Room presentation was very good. Was only for a 1 night stay, however if I was to stay in Napier again for longer I would definitely book a room here.

Napier is an interesting city to visit as it has the seaside and a very pretty walkway along Marine Parade at the top of the main street of shops. The town has shops of all kinds to look at, and there is also a Botanical garden to visit at the bottom of the hill where the lookout is. An Aquarium and skate park and Icecream shop along the Marine parade, plus a heated swimming pool . There are plenty of cafes and restaurants to choose from. A great holiday venue.

Attended a concert at McLean Park, Napier is so compact it was an easy enough walk. Great eateries, restaurants and wineries. Also some nice stores although some of them were a bit pricey. So many towns and sights are close to Napier and is appropriate for children and adults of all ages. Warning, you definitely need more than just a couple of days!
This hotel is very well located to view the sights of Napier and is one of its beautiful art deco buildings. The hotel is full of charm and interesting features and the owners/ staff are completely hands-on - welcoming and helpful. We also had a very pleasant dinner in the restaurant. We were sad to only have one night in Napier but staying at the County Hotel made us feel we’d had a really great experience here.
Stylish and beautifully presented hotel with some lovely original features but all mod-cons. Great location in the centre of Napier close to restaurants and shops. Loved the upstairs terrace for a pre-dinner drink (brought our own!)
Location is the key here and great car parking. Stayed with an overseas visitor as they wanted to see Napier. Easy walking distance to inner city. Nice to be on Marine Parade.
What a pretty hotel to stay on Napier .. good location .. lovely stuff.. clean.. highly recommended for family to stay .. Surly I will be coming back here
