Carol was extremely welcoming, greeted us with freshly baked muffins and had the heat pump already going to make sure the flat was warm
by the time we arrived. We had everything we needed, and more. Beds were extremely comfortable and shower was amazing.

We were pleased to stay at Scott Base as it broke up our drive to Taupo. The ferry was later ,so we contacted Brenda and she put the electric blankets on for us as we arrived at 10.50 pm. . It was easy to find. Brenda made us a lovely breakfast complete with pancakes and berries. They were very friendly and I will recommend Scott Base to all my friends traveling to North Island.

Lovely welcoming hosts. Timely fresh and plenty for breakfast with the added bonus of watching the sunrise. Lovely comfortable bed and room. Magnificent setting within delightful gardens but easy access to where we wanted to go. Warm cosy fire for the winter evening.

quaint little place, clean and tidy town. Appears to be growing industrially faster than domestically. Was a business trip so not a lot of tourist-type activities were undertaken. Went past a couple of interesting-looking museums. next time maybe.

Lovely friendly town.
Lovely friendly town. The town centre is beautiful with well maintained gardens. Great restaurants fabulous Friday market. 15 minutes to Palmerston North and 45 minutes to Whanganui. It’s an easy town to navigate as everything is well signposted. I will definitely be back

An attractive provincial town with good shopping facilities...
An attractive provincial town with good shopping facilities - several large supermarkets, an excellent Friday open-air market, some good op shops and a very large, weekly Friday livestock sale. An easy, 20-minute drive to the nearby university city of Palmerston North.
"Friendly Feilding" has won the the annual award for being New Zealand's most beautifull town numerous times.

Loved the Georgian architecture, very good meal at Murray's Irish pub wished we could have tried other places for meals as some of the menus looked good. Didn't get time to see the museum either but the autumn colour was great and we enjoyed wandering round Kowhai Park.

Because my stay was very short just an overnight, we arrived...
Because my stay was very short just an overnight, we arrived about !30pm and when we decided to go to the CBD I certainly would recommend visitors to go to Feilding. If visitors stay in a Motel close to the city, you do not need to use a vehicle Feilding has everything a lot of food outlets. Our function was at Murry's Irish bar meals recommended service perfect no faults there.
Very handy location. We were in Feilding for an evening concert, and didn't want to drive home afterwards in the dark. The motel was located within 1.5 km of the venue, and was within walking distance of a couple of restaurants, providing a choice for a meal beforehand. Very tidy and comfortable room. Quiet location in spite of being close to a fairly busy road. Some noise from the neighbouring unit, but not objectionable.
We loved our stay at Minffordd Cottage! We couldn't have asked for a better location, only a 1 minute drive into Feilding for our event. It was super quiet and immaculately clean. The gas heater and extra blankets were a god send because it was quite a chilly night. Loved saying hello to your alpacas too! Thanks for letting us stay, we will absolutely be back next time we visit Feilding :)
Convenient in middle of Fielding, close to Cafe and restaurants and Civic centre where we were attending an event. Hotel contacted me that it may be a little noisy as they were having a function in the bar but didn't find it any noisier than any hotel situated in the middle of a town,
Hotel is a little bit shabby but room and beds where really comfortable and good value for money.
big rooms, the best pressure in the showers ,close to feilding town . always stay when picking up our son from boarding school . great value for money and lovely set up . would rate it much higher then our recent stay at trinty in tauranga .
Although I didn't stay here to go to fielding ,I discovered Fielding was a quick handy drive away to visit .Plenty of different food to chose from for breakfast and the added extra's in the fridge and baking upon arrival .Friendly hosts .
Gavin and Brenda are lovely hosts. Very comfortable , nice room, and bathroom, great position. Nice local pub at Halcombe, and 5 minutes to Feilding.

Clean, tidy, warm and comfy. Staff are super friendly, even had welcome cookies which tasted aaaamazing!!!!! perfect location for our family and where we needed to go while in Feilding.
Beautiful rural outlook, yet very close to the township of Feilding. Quality cotton bed linen. Sky TV. Very spacious house and large deck for sitting outdoors. Well equipped kitchen.
The staff was super friendly and helpful, and our room was huge! It had all the amenities we could hope for. We will definitely be staying here the next time we're in Feilding.
It was clean with complimentary day old Countdown muffins upon arrival. Close to dance venue as travelled to Feilding with two 12 year old girls for an annual dance competition.
It was super close to the race track and a short walking distance into town, and the price was better than any other motel in the area. We would definitely stay there again!
Great central location. Could walk everywhere. Felt like the hotel was set back in time - which was awesome. Gorgeous, sweeping, central stairwell up to the accommodation.
