We Arrived late evening, and our host was available to check us in, the room was also heated in advance for us which was super appreciated, Motel was cozy and comfortable for a small rural town

This motel was very clean and comfortable.
It was well situated to the town.
The night we were there it was full in late winter so that's always a good sign.
It was right next door to Manfield Park so would be popular for race goers.

We were pleased to stay at Scott Base as it broke up our drive to Taupo. The ferry was later ,so we contacted Brenda and she put the electric blankets on for us as we arrived at 10.50 pm. . It was easy to find. Brenda made us a lovely breakfast complete with pancakes and berries. They were very friendly and I will recommend Scott Base to all my friends traveling to North Island.
