Close to town, carpark close to door, beds comfortable, great to have single bed in lounge so I could sleep there and my daughter could have the bedroom to herself. Staff were amazing - so helpful & friendly! Best service I've ever experienced in a motel!

Darling historic town in a stunning location and beautiful in autumn. Brilliant bike paths and walking trails of all grades. We did the Bush creek trail this time which is really beautiful and not difficult but is shared with mountain bike riders. Great outdoor adventures nearby. Close to fabulous hikes near Queenstown and beyond. Good pubs and restaurants. Got to love the Provisions cafe and yummy food. Check out the new Ayrburn resort. Beautiful gardens, great coffee and food if weirdly not unlike the Truman show! Expensive area though.

Arrowtown is a nice to walk around, and good for photography. I came for the fall foliage and it was better than expected. The trees have different shades of color at different times of the day. If you a photographer, this is a heaven. Take the offbeat track away from the Main Street and other tourists, walk down the creek and you will be delighted at what you see.
I tried 2 restaurants - Milhouse and Mosa. Milhouse is strongly recommended for its food and service. The atmosphere is great. Wine list is good too. I will not recommend Mosa regardless the reviews on Google. The place is a bit pricy and service is a little rude.

Arrowtown is an amazing historic town.
Arrowtown is an amazing historic town. The trees were turning gold autumn colours & looking fantastic! The museum right in town is a must see - so much history & exhibits extremely well put together. A walk along the river & also a visit to the old Chinese village nearby is very interesting.
The new Ayrburn area of restaurants & bars only 5 mins out of town is so beautifully landscaped & the buildings have great character. We only had coffee there but I highly recommend having lunch or dinner there. It is an outstanding development & will only get better as they add more.
You cannot miss visiting Arrowtown!

Arrowtown is so much quieter than Queenstown and has a charm of its own. You can however catch a bus over to Queenstown for the day for a small fare. Great central place to stay if you wish to explore the region i.e. vineyards, golf courses, walks along the river and historical sites to explore.

The house was spacious., very comfortable, and well appointed. It had a washer and dryer. There's also a garage and a nice driveway to park in. It was located in a quiet area.
The house was just a few minutes drive to Arrowtown where there were plenty of restaurants, shopping, and historical sites.
We have no complaints. Everything was good! It was a nice place to stay!

An interesting town with a great museum and lots of information about the goldrush. We only stayed for one night. Good selection of pubs and restaurants in the town. A big public car park with free parking for 24 hours. Nice river walk.
Although on AirBnB, this is a holiday parkas it's main business... but we booked through Booking.com.... so it was nice that we were still given a private room to ourselves that included a double bed... and new/clean towels/ sheets, pillow case, with a shared but very clean and well equipped bathroom and kitchen right next door... just a very short walk away... and yes, next time though I would book straight with the campground to cut out the middle person.
With thanks... Bev and Bryan
Location wise this is a fantastic hotel - right in the heart of Arrowtown so close to shops and amazing walks etc. By far the cheapest hotel that we could find in Arrowtown. Shower had good pressure and hot water. Bed very comfortable and the gentle hum of the air con that other people mention didn’t keep us awake. Close to all day free parking. Overall comfortable, cheap accommodation. Had a fantastic meal at The Chop Shop.
Beautiful cottage for a little family getaway, only a short drive away from the center of Arrowtown. It had all the amentities you need and the little touches of having fresh eggs and some chocolates were very thoughtful. Our little girl loved playing with the toys available and has already asked to return back to the 'holiday home.' Thank you for having us!
Idilic setting with everything we required. Pretty cottage gardens were very inviting on arrival.
The staff were so lovely and hospitable.
Our room was gorgeous and we were greeted with an amazing array of nibbles, fresh cake and drinks.
The complimentary breakfast (including coffee) was delicious.
We didn’t want to leave!
The view cannot be beaten. The cottage was perfect in every way. Even the bathroom was perfection with its large tub and room-sized shower. They provided lovely food and wine as well. I cannot say enough good things about this property. It was the best, hands down.
We loved the garden setting in central Arrowtown.
Our one bedroom and bathroom apartment with separate kitchen and living area was spacious and clean. Easy parking outside. Our hostess Brenda, was helpful and kind. Outstanding!
Love this hotel. Close to town, Clever architecture, Fab views, Eclectic style, Interesting Artwork. Original cottage is a great place to gather a small party for a drink before, or after, dinner. Lovely local walks.
Great location. The cottage is on its own apart from the host's house in a large garden. Nice setting to sit in the sun and chill. Very private. Easy walk into Arrowtown. Plenty of room.
The location is superb. Quiet. Only a few minutes drive from Arrowtown. Surrounded by rugged peaks. Super spa pool. Friendly sheep... well really only interested in eating bread.
Just thought the Motel and the owners so good .Helped me when I had a little trouble starting my car .
Will return one day soon .
Thank you so much.

It was so cozy. We had 6 adults from south Louisiana and we arrived and noticed the gas fireplace. We felt like we were in a magical cottage. So quaint and comfortable.
from giving us a jumpstart in the morning to quickly sending us something left behind in the room Shades of Arrowtown was everything that’s good about kiwi hospitality.
This is a hidden gem. A lovely, cosy hotel very close to the Arrowtown town centre (you can walk there!). Our host was excellent and breakfast was fantastic.
