Def a place to visit while being in Nepal, but I somehow got the feeling that the locality has lost a lot of its soul with increasing commercialization of tourism. I heard that before all the tourist lodges were built, Rhino could regularly be seen in Sauraha itself.
Recommend to visit, maybe for 2-3 nights at best.

It was really what you expect in a Lodge surrounded by nature.
All the atmosphere is really familiar and relaxed.
Thanks to Mr Deepak, it was really helpful to organise our Safari day and to arrange the transportation with the taxi and bus tickets.
The food was delicious and prepared at the moment.
The perfect place if you want a little bit of tranquility.

A lovely town that has more more to offer than the National...
A lovely town that has more more to offer than the National Park.
You could easily spent a day or two visiting surroundiings on a bike or even by foot.
Or spent some hours along the river side. or just walk up and down the main road in the village..
I have booked your hotel for 1 days. Hotel provide free pickup of service and good welcome. The hotel manage sujan gave me all the information about the chitwan national park. Then after I decided to do jungle walk for the full day with 2 guide. They gave very good information. His is very knowledge. See more animals. The food was also good & delicious. If you want to visit park, you should go to wild horizons guest house & do the activites from there. I will come again.
The staff made us feel like we are part of their family. We felt at home. :) Rajendra, Rajkumar and the rest of the team were always available to help us and took care of everything. One of our highlights was clearly our walking tours with Jagat. Highly recommend that you do the jungle tour and walking tour in the community forest with him. We had the best experience at Chitwan Village Resort we could ever have hoped for. Hoping to be back again in the near future.
The staff were super friendly and so helpful and really made the trip to Chitwan super special.
The owner took us on a half day walking trip in the jungle and we learned so much about the plants and animals. He also organised a jeep trip in the afternoon.
Ghanga very kindly went to town and got some lights for us to take home as we loved the ones in the room. Nothing was too much trouble.
The hotel was lovely with very spacious rooms and a very comfy bed.
Nice stay! Room was fine, good hot water in the shower, screens/netting on the windows, the garden was lovely (such good dahlias blooming!) breakfast was simple and quite good. The owner was very helpful organizing tours, bus tickets, etc! And the staff were very kind. Not the place if you are looking for a super fancy luxury hotel, but extremely good value. We enjoyed. Good location - short walk into town but far enough away to be nice and quiet.
We spent three wonderful days in the Happy Lemon Tree lodge. The lodge is near the Chitwan National Park and we did a walking safari which was organized through the hostel - we totally recommend to do this! It was just awesome. Everything was really nice: the room was clean, the food delicious and the staff was so friendly and helpful! Hopefully, we will visit again and we totally recommend the accommodation to everyone. :-)
Gorgeous view of the river and Chitwan National Park from the balcony outside the room. The staff were incredibly lovely, always smiling and happy to help with any questions or sorting us out with bus tickets. The room was great, clean, with coffee making facilities and 24 hour hot shower. Breakfast was also excellent with a nice menu. Would definitely recommend and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!
The pool was nice, since it was pretty hot when we were there, but the pool is not heated so be prepared for a cold dip. The grounds were really well maintained, lots of gardens and trees. A rhino wandered through the hotel grounds at dawn one morning we were there (both amazing and terrifying). The staff was very helpful and made sure our excursions were booked and our transportation was sorted out.
Really liked this place. Beautiful grounds and comfortable rooms, good options in the restaurant. A bit removed from town (10-15 minute walk) but we used the hotel for the jeep safari - they had lots of options. Would definitely stay here again if back near Chitwan. Staff was all very eager to help. Very relaxing - my only nights in Nepal where I didn't hear anyone or anything else from my room.
This hotel is perfect for accessing Chitwan national park and you feel really at home. The owner is very helpful, and organises fantastic safari tours via jeep and walking, with quality guides. The hotel goes out of its way to make you comfortable, and ensures you show up on time to all of your National Park activities. Amazing value for money, I would definitely stay here again!
Their host are the best of the place. The hotel is running by a family. All of them are very kind, always care about the comfort and how to make your stay better. The place is lovely and the rooms are big, comfy and clean. If you are looking for a place in Chitwan, this is a great place.
Hotel with a peaceful environment. The views from the top of the hotel was perfect. Could see the villagers life. The food was good and the staffs were very friendly. Also, being a budget hotel, they've bathtub in every rooms.

The beautifully built bamboo apartment on the riverside is a perfect place to spend your time in Chitwan. Nice host couple, always there to help. Nice cuisine and drinks, local beers from the tap are a specialty!
