Very comfortable apartment- very new with everything you could need in the kitchen & elsewhere. Great washing machine & dryer, lovely bathroom, lovely lounge & deck, comfortable beds. The owners have thought of everything- even a great coffee machine. It is very close to shopping centres & only 20 min walk to the small harbour. Also great communication from hosts.

If you want to get away from all-the-same hotel experiences and get a classic style home feeling this is the place to stay. I instantly felt welcomed in everything, from exceptionally friendly host to a cozy interior and thought out little details. The surroundings are also superb, we even stayed for longer then initially planned to enjoy the views and to hike in the woods.

The overall experience, it's exactly as advertised. The room was very tiny, but clean and comfortable. Parking and restaurant on site are a bonus.
Excellent hotel and very helpful and responsive staff. We sent them a query prior to our arrival as we were seeking connection to our family history, not only did they respond but also briefed and organised a connection with the local librarian who also assisted us . Great restaurant & bar onsite - excellent tasty local food. Rooms facing the fjiord with balcony was an unexpected bonus to watch the setting sun.

Very comfortable, very clean, and right on the water in Tvedestrand. Nice little patio and well-equipped kitchen. We were there a bit past the summer season and really enjoyed the tranquility and small bookstores in town. We were lucky to have good weather and really enjoyed boating on the fjord one day. The hosts were very kind, friendly, responsive, and generous. We would love to return sometime.
Beautiful small hotel. We were very warmly welcomed by the front desl lady, whom went the extra mile to make sure everything was OK for us and our two bicycles. We got a very nice room with a small balcony and an awesome view over the fjord. Breakfast was very good. Free coffee and tea all day for hotel guests.
Very nice location and perfect for our family group of 10. The living spaces and kitchen were very comfortable and the house was well equipped for a large group. Overall it was a nice house for a very cheap price and close to Tvedestrand.
Jan and Anne Grete run a cozy bread and breakfast hotel. Good warm breakfast every day, comfortable beds, rooms cleaned by housekeeping daily, fantastic views, pool overlooking the ocean, and fantastic warm service with a smile.
Nice location, it was worth paying for the room with balcony. Thanks to the staff´s recommendation we found also a wonderful small beach to swim a short way from the hotel.
