We had such a lovely stay, the hotel is very relaxed and friendly, the staff were all wonderful. The ski lifts are just outside, and there is a ski rental shop at the hotel, too, where the staff were also really helpful and friendly. The atmosphere of the whole place is very understated and relaxing. We'd love to come back!

Nice and tidy breakfast, all you wanted was there in terms of variety of fruits, freshly baked bread, cold milk, cheeses, hams, sausages, cerials etc. The location is really nicely decorated and made you feel at home, staff was sometimes walking around, doing some small talks with the customers in between work tasks.

Well organized self check-in procedure, spacious room with comfortable beds, very good breakfast opinions even there weren't many guests in the hotel, surprisingly quiet location within walking distance from town centre.

I really liked the lobby area with the cozy fireplace. The breakfast buffet was amazing and had alot of options. The three restaurants and the Café in the building were all really good, both atmosphere wise and quality of food.
I would recommend the spa for a relaxing moment. I really appreciated that they only let certain amount of people in at a time to guarantee your relaxation. Lockers for our skiing equipment was a big plus and kept our room dry:0) Location was perfect, close to the slopes and other activities, après ski, shopping and more.

Perfect location for the husky experience and skiing
Located in Trysil in the Hedmark region, Hytte i Trysil nær Osensjøen med sjøutsikt features a garden. Featuring a shared kitchen, this property also welcomes guests with a restaurant and a barbecue.
Excellent small skiing area. Ideal for beginners/intermediates. Expert skiers will be bored, although there is one specific black run that is very challenging. Most red/black runs are wide open and when compared to Alpine resorts would be classed as no more than hard blues or easy reds. Plenty of mountain restaurants.

Quiet area, where the hotel is situated, acctualy in the senter of town, very close to ski slopes - 5 minutes with the car - and you have some restaurants (chinese restaurant very near with excelent food) and the city "mall" at few minutes walk. The cinema is also near and 2 times per week is open. :)
If you are looking for the quiet area in this alpin resort here it is !
Stayed last week for 5 days skiing.
The hotel was half the price of the Radisson on the mountain where stayed before and to be honest it was much of an inconvenience staying at the far cheaper hotel and getting the bus up to the raddisson. The hotel was lovely. Staff were brilliant and the manager actually took us up the mountain one day when we missed a bus.
Hotel was clean and the food was excellent. The boot room was easily accessible and has a boot dryer.
5 Stars! We had amazing time for a short stay at the Trysil Moderna Lodge. The location was a 4-minute drive to free parking at the ski resort, and the home is nothing short of spectacular: beautifully furnished, incredible kitchen, comfortable beds and living space, fast Wi-Fi, and immaculately clean. Host responded quickly to messages. Highly recommended, and hope to stay there again.
Well equipped villa, you can make food at big kitchen, play some games, watch TV (in big common room). There are candle-like lamps that are used instead of real candles to make a romantic atmosphere.

We loved the location, it is in the midst of everything and there is even a grocery store right below the apartment. The apartment was clean and our host/contact person Line was amazing and very helpful in every way, she gave us great recommendations and her response time was within minutes. Super nice and helpful hosts! The cabin is cozy, warm (we stayed there with temperatures from 0°C to -30°C) and has everything you need to spend the week(end) on the slopes. The accommodation is 5 minutes away from the nearest ski lift. 5 minutes also to the bus stop to reach other skiing villages.
location is amazing! super easy shuttle to the mountain. the brewery was really cozy with a fireplace, the food was excellent and fresh breakfast everyday was a wonderful touch. walkable to town center which let us explore. the restaurant staff were super kind and helpful! we’d definitely come back
Trysil Hyttegrend was able to offer the 8 nights and we needed since SAS has no flights out of Salen airport on Saturdays. This made our overall holiday plans possible. The location and accomodation are fantastic. There is easy access to the ski resort via the free skibus.

Good value for money. The appartement was as we expected. The second bedroom is small but works perfectly fine. Very helpful personel. We would like to go back to Trysil-Knut hotel :-)
We loved the house so much (mind you its only the first floor so not an entire house). The house is very modern and spacious and super close to the ski lifts (2 minute drive).
