Not your usual accommodation on Lofoten, The Tide is in a modern building overlooking the harbour.
It was very comfortable - we had an excellent room on the corner, with dual aspect, so could sit and watch the comings and goings outside.
Very good staff and great food offer both at breakfast and in the evening.
Would definitely stay here again, if we are ever lucky enough to pass this way again.

This was probably the most beautiful, cozy and comfortable property we have stayed in across all of our travels. The view from the house is exceptional. The walk into the little town is very easy with 2 grocery stores and 2 great restaurants nearby. We could not have asked for a better place or location than this cottage.

Lovely cabin, great view. Owners very helpful - let us in before it was quite ready so we could put down our bags. Really comfortable. Ten minutes walk from the bus stop. Well equipped kitchen, though a microwave, and basics like salt and oil would be handy.

The apartment is great for cleanliness, warmth, size and facilities. It is beautifully and comfortably furnished with everything you need and more in the kitchen. It was useful to have the washing machine. Although not on the waterfront, it has a good view, especially from the main bedroom. The owners/agency were prompt and helpful with answers to queries

Easy check-in at the nearby restaurant, reasonably sized room, comfy bed, OK bedding. Parking right outside if you get there early enough. You're paying for the location as much as the room.
Lovely area for exploring the south of Lofoten.
The village is small and there is a Joker supermarket which is well stocked for all your needs.
The scenery is stunning, we arrived in October and the autumn colours were just gorgeous.
The village is very close to the ferry terminal for departing to and arriving from the Bodo making it an ideal location if you arrive in the evening and don't fancy a drive to your accommodation.
We would definitely stay here again!!

The island is very close to Reine fishing village and there are several nice islands nearby as well. There is a nearby Coop to get any necessary groceries as well. Several places nearby offer kayak and boating tours as well as sauna.

Although we had booked a non refundable booking for 4 nights...
Although we had booked a non refundable booking for 4 nights (it was very expensive accommodation so we felt we had to purchase the cheaper non refundable option) and considering the extreme circumstances of Covid19 we felt it very unreasonable not to refund our monies considering we couldn’t leave our Country of Australia, our flight into Norway was cancelled, and all accomodations in Europe and the UK refunded our monies, except Norway. It was entirely out of our control.

Had a wonderful nights stay here. Peak season. Really close to the ferry which for us was perfect afte driving up from Stockholm. You really can't envisage the views of the mountains UNTILL your sat on the balcony. We loved the sauna. Jumped in the clear blue water and enjoyed a cosy nights sleep in a comfy bed instead of our tent! Shower and kitchen facilities were great. Super fast wifi. Breathtaking views. Recommend!
