The hotel is a former restaurant, dating back to the late '40s- '50s. Big, scenic waterfall behind the hotel. Small hydro plant next to the hotel. Nice view of the fjord. Nice wood fire in the dining lounge area. Full kitchen. Quite rooms. Nice, and informative host. Climbed up to the nearby Snolke Cabin after I checked out. It is a serious, icy/snowy hike in late October. Returned in one piece, more or less ;) Lots of photos.

There is a restaurant at the property that serves excellent traditional Norwegian dishes. The day we arrived it was cold and snowy. It was so nice to have a wonderful dinner in the warm cozy restaurant. The cabin was very nice. Mountain views all around. We were able to prepare our own breakfast since there was a kitchen in the cabin.

We enjoyed our stay here, the view was amazing !!! The communication with the host was easy, we received all the information before we got there and we were also contacted after we checked in , to make sure we have everything we need ( I thought that was nice of them). It was a 5 min drive to the ski slopes and 10 min to the shopping center.
We really liked it, will definitely come back!
Oct 17, 2023. Hike up to the SnolkeHytte was beautiful, steep, snowy, icy...almost never-ending. Great views at the top. Snolkehytte was nice. The hike back down to the car was icy and tricky ;). Took lots of photos.
