Excellent camping site with loads of activities, making it impossible to get bored. Great staff helping us with all our questions. Kids Club is also very nice, especially laser tag and archery. Having Mineralparken nearby as well, brings yet more activities to the table. A bit further down the road is gocarting. I would recommend a trip to this place.
Nice old-fashioned, but clean hotel. The rooms were spacious. Bathroom was more than adequate. We had a room with 2 seperate beds and an extra bunk bed. The location close to the small villages modern centre with restaurants and shops was excellent. Wifi was good too, although not pasword protected. Breakfeast was very good, with lot's to chooes from and good quality. The owner is very friendly and we had got some coffee from here in the evening. I would definitely stay here again.
Also a lot of buslines cross through this town.
We really liked the antique charm of the hotel and the way the recent renovations on the ground floor keep the general atmosphere intact while still adding a fresh touch. We recommend that you contact the hotel and ask for a room with a view to the river since you can't directly book it here.
I liked the staff they were professional and did everything they could and prepared breakfast when I told them I had to be up before breakfast.

Evje is a nice little town
Very nice room with a wonderful lake view and mountains beyond. Coffee maker was a nice addition. As a budget solo bikepacker this hotel was priced a little above my comfort zone but the impressive buffet breakfast made up for the "discomfort". All good wholesome food.
Lovely old and stylish hotel. Absolutely wonderful food. The rooms of the hotel are smallish but the atmosphere is wonderful. Dinner is excellent - I would recommend it. And if the weather is alright to sit on the deck, it is even greater.
We had a comfortable stay for a night. The staff was very nice and accommodating. The hotel has an old and cosy atmosphere. The terrace is by the river which is a great supplement for the hotel.
