The location was a beautiful and it was perfect for a convenient and quick stopover just off the E6 road heading to the north. Easy and comfortable check-in procedure (provided that you contact them telephonically first). The host is responsive and flexible. The bathrooms were super-clean and it was very positive experience staying over.

Dombas is a busy stop on the E6 route through Norway and I wasn’t expecting such a great hotel in this town, it really was exceptional. Nice small shopping mall with cafe and souvenir shop , also everything was in easy reach of hotel.
Very nice spot above the center of Dombås and close to hiking trails in the Mountain. Cheap enough for the facilities it provides, for Norway and for the spot!
We have enough space for two in a 4-bed-room and we enjoy the private toilet and shower. Also nice to have the possibilty to cook in the share kitchen and also the possibility to dry clothes and everything in a warm room next to the kitchen.
The hostel is located some 30 minutes away from Snohetta viewpoint and some 10 min away from Dombås village. The rooms are a bit old but ok for a one night stay we were looking for. There is a restaurant in the main building and the hostel building has a small communal kitchen. The linen is not included in the room but can be rented at the reception. All in all a good option for the price charged.

Gateway hotel station for the amazing scenic Rauma Line Dombas to Andalsnes and back on the same day. Better overnight stay for Rauma Line than Oslo.
The hotel is right in town, handy to everything. We’d booked a mezzanine room and they changed it for us. The stairs were too steep for us. The new room was large and comfortable and the bed was lovely. Had the evening meal there and it was good, as was breakfast. Nothing to complain about at all.
Very friendly and accommodating staff. The hotel offers everything you need for outdoor activities, has generously sized rooms and good food. Its location away from the town centre and surrounded by nature is calm and relaxing. Alpine and XC ski areas are just a few steps away.
