The location and the very friendly family living there. Including the art gallery with beautiful pictures made by the philosopher, very takented and most kind son Thor. Coffee with the host (both fluently in English!) on the terrace was such welcoming pleasure!

The cabin was clean and very cozy, with a climate of a wooden house. We had all we need - kitchenette, living room and small additional room. Free showers and free use of canoe! People there were super nice and helpfull and the rules were clear. We really enjoyed the stay.

We stayed in motels room M2 wich has a roof above outside area. That was a perfect in the raining evening. The room is updated to modern standard and was clean. Friendly atmosphere. Like it!
Very nice little gaminated cottage with a master bedroom, a kitchenette, a double sofa and a bathroom. It also has a porch with a table and chairs and a very charming pergola with garden furniture and barbecue set. It is located in a charming rown of Dalen and is a short distance from the lake and Soria Moria sauna. All in all a very good value for money.
A beautiful hotel which clearly has an amazing Hotel Manager. Staff were handpicked throughout Europe and were all exceptional. The restaurant was incredible and catered for my vegetarian diet with no problem.
The setting and grounds were stunning. The whole 1894 thing was great fun and made it an immersive experience rather than just another hotel stay.
Everything, location, room, service and as for the food...exquisite (Michelin standard).
Room was quiet, pitch dark with no light intrusion and windows you can open right out for that fresh mountain air.
One of the finest hotels we've ever stayed in, yes it's pricey but treat yourself, you won't regret it!
