Beautiful nature with ample opportunity for an active holiday. Quiet, rich agricultural area with super quality produce to purchase like Beemster (cheese), flowers and fruits. Purmerend, Middenbeemster, DeRijp ( sweet town!) Edam and Volendam are all worth a visit.

Super cool accommodation resort. The sauna complex is classy and rustic, with many beautiful designs, like the Birdnest sauna.
The hotel room was spacious and comfortable with gorgeous redesigning of the fort building. Quiet & dark in the morning. I guess being a fort helps soundproofing! I slept extremely well.
The included buffet breakfast was delicious!
