The property is set in stunning countryside and offers secure parking for a motorbike (closed barn). The room and bathroom were spacious and beautifully decorated. The bathroom was fabulous and had a jacuzzi bath (very relaxing). Outside had a lovely seating area in which to enjoy the warm evenings.
The breakfast was delivered to our room at a time of our choosing and was FANTASTIC! The best continental breakfast I have had in a very long time.

We stayed at this centrally located, charming, stand-alone cottage in mid May. Tastefully decorated, it is cozy and comfortable inside and the secluded garden was blooming with flowers. The well appointed sleeping loft is at the top of a spiral staircase. The stairs have motion activated lights, so they can be navigated at night.
The hosts, Paula and Marcel, who live next door, were attentive and welcoming. Paula served us a truly sumptuous breakfast at our cottage table, (as well as a late lunch the day we arrived).
This is a perfect place to stay in any season, when exploring the area.

I was welcomed with a bouquet of roses, belgium chocolates, ans special marzipan filled cookies.
It was super quiet, overlooking a huge sugar beet field, with no neighbours. Great walks in the area! Check out the herbal tea mongolean tent, called De Rust! For people into thermal baths, there is a great spa, Bad Nieuweschans, about 35 minutes away.
