The hosts, Nolda & Jan, were lovely. Upon arrival, they went to greet us. Moreover, they did everything they could to accommodate our request for early check-in. The accommodation was spacious, cosy and very clean. Tea and coffee were available in the kitchen. We certainly plan on visiting again in the future.

Schoorl is a small tourist village close to the dunes and the beach. There are several tourist shops, but there's also a supermarket with normal prices, where locals shop as well. There are several restaurants, cafes and bars. In summer it can get crowded with foreign tourists, mostly germans. The best way for exploring the surrounding dunes and forests is by foot or by bike. There are several bicycle rentals.
Family room worked well for us with separated second bedroom big sunny balcony and in a quiet location within the hotel.
Did not take breakfast as to expensive for a family with 3 children to have everyday in the hotel.
Location was great. Quite yet only 5 minutes walk into the centre of the village and at the foot of the dunes.
House cleaning staff on our floor were very friendly and good.
Location is perfect in the centre of Schoorl with easy access to the beach. Very friendly staff and great breakfast at Joop. We picked the hotel because it was air-conditioned ( forecast of 38 degrees C!), Although effective, it was a mobile Aircon unit which made a lot of noise. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our stay a lot and would pick this hotel again when staying in the area.
