Room and bathroom was nice and clean, not any noise was noticed from the neighbors, the bed was comfy and clean. Great garden with some wild rabbits around was fascinating :), big swimming pool, and also nice place for the kids to play. Very big parking slots for 10euros per day and only 10min with train to the central train station in Rotterdam. Definitely we will come again.

Quiet location, yet very close to the historic centre of Schiedam. Welcoming check in with tea and a biscuit while forms/keys were being sorted. Spacious room (without a view, but therefore quiet) with sofa and kitchenette with coffee and tea provided. Nice large bath and bed.

when I booked it I had no idea we'd get an entire floor to ourselves, so that was a delightful surprise! Jan the host was super friendly and made us feel entirely at home. each room was tastefully decorated with lots of interesting items and pieces of furniture.

We had the pleasure to be the only guests during our stay on the cruise ship Aurora. Steve, the captain, and Faye, the faithful dog, made sure we had a wonderful and enjoyable stay - we‘ve laughed so much:-) We received a delicious and varied breakfast every morning, the room was very clean and nicely decorated and Steve gave us good tips for activities in and around Schiedam. This was definitely an unforgettable stay - many thanks to Steve, Faye and Karina (who we unfortunately couldn't meet in person as she was travelling). We stayed for 3 nights at this lovely location! Nice apartment over 2 levels with a well equipped kitchen close to shops. We used it as a base for day trip to The Hague and to the tulip gardens. if you don’t have a local debit card do not park in the parking station at the shopping centre. There is nobody on-site to help and the machine wouldn’t except our cards. Thankfully a helpful local helped out with his card. Other parking avail close by We cooked and ate in. Local people very helpful and friendly.

Schiedam is somewhat of a hidden gem in The Netherlands. As suburban city close to the gigantic harbor of Rotterdam it often gets overlooked. However, this is not fair towards this beautiful city with its reminders that go back to the golden ages of shipbuilding and trade in The Netherlands. The relative small center has some of the best preserved canals of any city in The Netherlands with scenic houses and old sailing boats. There are plenty of restaurants and it is very calm compared to Amsterdam. If you want to see real Dutch old cities, go to places like Schiedam. It has the biggest windmills in the world and is famous for its liquor Jenever. A trip well worth.
The location was lovely, just a few metres away from several good restaurants and the scenic canals of Schiedam centre. I was travelling by bicycle and my host, who was very welcoming and helpful, provided a safe place to store it overnight. The room was large and comfortable with lots of character, I particularly liked the exposed beams and the sash windows.
I have always dreamed to live in the hotel on the water, the view is wonderful. Rotterdam is close to the location. Hosts are very caring, you have everything you need on the way. There is a common kitchen, we bought fish and srimps on the market and cooked. Really enjoy the time.
The hotel owners are very helpful and friendly. We stayed for two weeks, it almost felt like home. It is immaculate, spacious, has rooms with beautiful views. Best experience I've ever had. If you are thinking of staying in this vicinity, come here without hesitation.
The location was convenient for what I needed. The hotel itself was very clean and well ordered. The top storey pool was delightful. The breakfast was probably one of the best experienced; a small detail I suppose but excellent. The staff were extremely good.
The owners are a lovely couple who made me feel at home, right from the start. I had a very busy weekend, but the amazing breakfast keept me going through the day. A real treat to be there. Thanks for having me. Next time I will bring a drink.
At the doorstep of the city center this boutique style hotel has a perfect ambiance. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Rooms and hotel in general were with modern decoration. Breakfast selection is just right to kick-off the day.
The decor and vibe of the whole place was very nice. The bathroom was especially impressive, as it wasn't the typical basic white hotel bathroom we're all used to seeing. The staff at reception were very friendly and welcoming.
The location was prime. The rooms have nice finishes. It was never a problem finding parking in the street and the hotel was able to manage our parking meter fees so we could just pay at the end. Very nice staff.
The hotel looks newly built/refurbished & is immaculately clean & tidy. Our room was nicely furnished & very comfortable. The area is very quiet & there is free parking available directly outside the hotel.
My colleague found the hotel to be outstanding and beyond expectations. He particularly liked the gym and the rooftop restaurant and found the meal there to be of outstanding quality and very innovative.

The location is great for central Schiedam. We were welcomed and shown around by the host and they were great throughout the weekend. We will use the same apartment next time we visit.
We liked the location and view from the hotel! However, there was an unpleasant smell in the room and it was not clean enough. Anyway advantages were more than disadvantages!
Really cute hotel. The room was huge with a small kitchen. All clean. Trains to rotterdam and den haag go every 15 min and you walk 15min to the train station.
if you lower your expectations and conscious of one of the cheapest hotels at this level, the service is fair, just could be better with some minor touches...
