First of all we loved the view to the North-Sea. Exceptional.
The interieur of the hotel was very peculiar, we felt ourselves on the board of a boat.

The suite was very comfortable. The king bed was a treat and the room was surprisingly quiet as it was on a busy street. Anne was our staff contact and had everything in order for us.

Hotel La Rosa was exactly what we were hoping for when we booked. A super clean, comfortable room and bed with access to a kitchen, short walking distance from the train and to a variety of restaurants and the beach, since we had no car.
Lucy was very helpful during our four day visit, greeting us, explaining the kitchen, and helping us navigate the town,
Communication with Hotel La Rosa was easy through messaging, getting quick responses. It was easy to arrange an early arrival.

Facilities for dining and socialising incredibly restricted and dull. Seems to be full of workers - smoking outside the front door.
Bedrooms claim to be deluxe, they are clean and pleasant - not deluxe by any stretch of the imagination.

Employees are switching to other Bastion properties, the quality of the cooks is below zero. Happend to be young boys without any experience.
The management has also lack on experience and could not change or solve a solution on my complains.
The quests of the hotel exists of construction companies and their employees.
The bar closes at 22:00 pm
The only guests then were the friends of the manager (vr)then. they were served. yes !
After my complains where she asked me to lower my tone ! my room key was not functional anymore. I had to go back were another employee fixed this. I asked for the manager but she did not showed up.

Rent a bike and discover the area! take a bike tour from the hotel to Bloemendaal en Zee through the dunes! spectacular!!! A hidden treasure! Make sure you plan the route ahead, its huge and there are several routes. Rent an e-bike if you are not used to bike. the beauty of the area is unbelievable!!! plan to spend the day at the beach and watch the sunset from ine of the beautiful tent restaurants in the area. Fabulous!

It was a great stay! The hotel is historic and kept its authentic character on the inside and on the outside in the garden. Our room was in the old part of the hotel and met all requirements! The breakfast was excellent. You had to pay for it but it was worth it. Rental bikes were available to explore the dunes right behind the hotel. The staff was outstanding and did everything to please us.

The beautiful location of the hotel with a lake in front of it and wonderful forest around. The interior of the hotel is giving you the inspiration that you live in museum (it really looks like old castle with antique interiors). Our room was in the old castle itself and not in the new building. Friendly stuff always ready to help. Silent village atmosphere. Free parking.
Beautiful historic hotel surrounded by stunning nature. It id worth it to book a dinner at the hotel restaurant, which was excellent with great selection of wines. The hotel staff was very helpful and accommodating of our delayed check-in and dinner reservation and late check out. Free parking on the side is a great bonus.
Fabulous hotel and very spacious room. Very old preserved building with wonderful rooms. The dining room was gracious, and the food and wine were wonderful. Breakfast was extensive and very nice, and was included in the room rate. Extensive grounds and access to large natural areas.
The manager Lydia was amazing . She made us welcome and at home and really served us an amazing personalised breakfast. She really was very nice and helpful The hotel is a in a very calm neighbourhood and near to all the facilities . The rooms are quiet and in a safe neighbourhood
Everything is okey! We were delighted as beautiful hotel! Interior is amazing! it's like you're transporting yourself back to the early 20th century. And transport accessibility is very convenient, 7 minutes to railstation! We will come back exactly!!!
The hotel has simple, but very nice and comfortable rooms, great breakfast and very friendly and helpful staff. We traveled with our infant baby without problem, they had a baby cot available. We felt very comfortable staying here.
Historical estate, lovely keeping, at excellent condition. Stylish spacious rooms, very good sauna. Great park with pond, windows open to pond , entrance to National park forest area begins directly from hotel.
