I had a lovely stay in this hotel. It's only 10 minutes walking from the train station and even shorter from ECI Cultuurfabriek and is situated along the Roer river. The room is normal sized as is the bathroom. There is a wardrobe without doors and without shelves but with a rack and coat hangers. The floor is from wood and felt a bit cold on my feet. Breakfast is included in the price; it's a buffet continental breakfast and there's a choice of eggs: boiled, scrambled or sunny side up. At check in I was warned for a bit of noise coming from the bar downstairs and outside and I could use the ear plugs that I would find in the room, but I never needed them, I hardly heard anything, and it was Saturday night. When walking into the hotel, you have to walk through cigarette smoke as smoking is allowed on the outside part of the bar. Disgusting but it's only a few metres.
Hotel Roermond Next Door is ideally located in the heart of the historical city of Roermond. It is located close to the train station, as is the shopping area.

hotel location perfect.
car park available or municipal car park we used just down the road at reasonable price.
Our only reservation, although the rooms were superior quality we were travelling as two couples the rooms we had requested and the reason we were staying there was the river view at the front of the hotel. The other couple had a fabulous room at the front overlooking the river as requested and we had a room at the rear with no view only brick walls of the other building and another room close by looking into ours. We asked to be moved but to no avail. This was such a shame as it was the reason we had booked it. Dont let this put you off staying just make sure you have confirmation of the room you want

Not a huge place, but I had the advantage of living there for 3 years in the 70's. Our visit was to visit Dutch friends and reaquaint ourselves with the place. I also have an RAF relative, sadly killed during the war and buried in the local Churchyard.
Quiet a busy town with a good Market, Marina and watersports. The shops good with a large Outlet Village too. Many restaurants and places to eat.

I knew Roermond very well having lived down the road for 9 years. Roermond is an excellent place to visit both from a shopping perspective, the Designer Outlet is very popular and parking (very large) is €4 for 24 hours. The old town is lovely with varied and good restaurants/cafes. Plenty of activities if you like, walking, cycling and water sports. the road network is excellent with Maastrich/Eindhoven/Dusseldorf nearby.

It’s a quaint city with just enough sites to see.
It’s a quaint city with just enough sites to see. Most people come to visit the Designer Outlet Mall, but there’s more to the city. There are beautiful churches, a nice quay with cafe’s and restaurants. You can also visit nearby German cities and walking routes.

Old city, buildings were of great interest.
Old city, buildings were of great interest. Local food market where you can buy all sorts of produce. The asparagus was seasonally very special. Plenty of churches, must see St Christopher's Church.
The location was very easy to reach, and the parking garage is extremely close.
Very friendly staff, and a beautiful building next to the church, very short walk into the centre of Roermond.
Check in from 2 pm, which was one of the reasons we chose this place so we could check in before attending a wedding.
Breakfast made per table at an agreed time in the morning, with a lot of choice, and the possibility to eat outside.
All in all a very nice experience.
This is an excellent hotel, with a unique and genuine design in American neo-classical style. The hotel is personality, has a great location right on the Ruhr river, and staff is very friendly. Very nice breakfast as well. Very good price-quality balance. Highly recommended if you want to explore the vibrant city of Roermond!
The location was perfect for our visit to Roermond, nice quiet area, not far from the outlet shopping. The rooms were large, clean and tidy. All the staff were very helpful during our trip. The hotel is also pet friendly
The decor was amazing, the attention go detail was just out of this world. Warm welcome given by Carl. The location was great, smack bang in the middle of Roermond. Very spacious room. Close to the outlets.
