Didn’t try the breakfast. The location was great. On a lake with views from the apartment, a short easy walk from Thorn, over the lift bridge and lake into town. The staff were all very pleasant especially the two girls cleaning rooms in B3 apartments. Also the night porter (s), and the air-conditioner man. It was clean, quite spacious, with an especially large bathroom. Nice large windows that opened and a good block curtain for sleeping. Quiet.
We did eat in Humphries restaurant and found staff friendly, the food very good, but the prices too high.

We've been choosing this place for many years. The restaurant inside the hotel is excellent (basically opens only on weekends). The owner family is very kind and warm. The ice cream shop nearby is one of the best (has small play ground for small children). I think the room is newly renovated and looks more stylish and comfortable. We really recommend the place and the area.
