My husband and I loved our stay here. We found the room very comfortable albeit a little dated however it was very homely and warm….i liked that. A couple of little things prevented me from giving full marks. The restaurant has a wonderful ambience and the service was excellent. The food was not, in my opinion, the best. I believe there is a new chef so Im sure it will be sorted. We would go back in a heartbeat and stay in this accommodation. The area gave me a feeling of calmness and relaxation. Parking was not a problem.

The house is really amazing and has an upscale feeling. The garden, the animals, the pool and other surroundings around the facility make it really outstanding. Our room was very comfortable with a small terrace to the garden. You should know that, this is a peaceful area & hotel with nature only around where you can sit and relax quitely. Lovely pub hotel in a really nice little town. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Room was a good size, very clean, comfortable beds and good wifi. Would definitely recommend.

Lottum is a small village with a rose garden & one cafe which opens in the evening. The nearby village of Grubbenworst provides very good meals every day of the week.
Head towards Arcen & you cross the river by way of a chain ferry costing 2.5 Euros. It leaves every few minutes until about 7p.m. on weekdays & 2 hours later on a weekend.
The Hertog Jan brewery at Broekhuizen is well worth a visit for a brewery tour or just a meal or drink.
In Arcen the Kasteeltuinen (gardens) are beautiful. There is a cafe there for lunch.
The Mind Mystery at Horst is amazing & also provides lunches.
There is also a war museum which we didn't have time to visit but are told is very interesting if you like that sort of thing.
Suzzane was a wonderful host with an amazing place in Lottum! Rosa Arvensis is an absolutely great place for a peaceful getaway! The room was big, clean, comfortable and cozy! The sauna was great too and to top it all off the breakfast was brilliant! Already looking forward to another weekend!!
