Easy to find from the train station in Layton. The hostess Mickey, was very helpful and friendly. Our room was on the top floor with a view of the windmill and the bed was very comfortable. Market day is Wednesday and Saturday and we thoroughly enjoyed visiting the variety of stalls with colorful flowers and vegetables and everything else.

We loved the large room with the sitting area, since we were here for a week. We loved looking out our three front-facing windows onto the little street below, the canal, the bridge over the canal and a small park on the other side of the canal.
The bed was very comfortable, and they staff was friendly and helpful.
Quite, but not much to do, especially in the colder time.
Quite, but not much to do, especially in the colder time. Not much variety for restaurants, not even that calm because of closeness to the airport. Didn't hate my stay, people are really nice, it's just I am not coming back another time.

Fabulous location, views to die for and lovely hotel.
Fabulous location, views to die for and lovely hotel. Perfect room for family of 4 (inc two teens) with separate room for the kids - airy, spacious and ideal size for all of us. Hotel breakfast ample and evening meals in restaurant are simply gorgeous (but the menu is limited which could be an issue with younger guests). Island is lovely, plenty of water fun to be had everywhere and some lovely restaurants to choose from all who provided exceptional meals and service. Nothing bad to say about this place, my second visit in two years and would not hesitate to return. Location just 30 min drive from Amsterdam and 4 miles from Lieden (sublime) which can be accessed by water and boat hire in an hour apparently - definitely one for the bucket list! Highly recommended hotel, area and country.
B&B is in a quiet semi-rural setting on a small island (served by reliable 24hr “ferry”). Perfectly situated 30 mins from both Schiphol and Keukenhof. The room is hotel quality with exceptional attention to detail. Antoinette is a great host and provides a delicious little “artisan” breakfast in the room. Comfy bed, spacious bathroom with overhead shower. Free parking immediately adjacent to property. Nice area with excellent restaurants on the island itself, for a pleasant lazy walk in the evenings.
