The host served us hot soup when we arrived, which was amazing. Invited us to a campfire on second night. Lovely with the kids. But wait, that's nothing. We broke our car 30 minutes away from the BnB, with two kids, in the middle of nowhere. How many host would have kindly pick us at 21:00 ? They offered and did, without hesitating a second. Let us stayed extra hours the day after as we picked a replacement car from a garage. Best host in town, in the Netherlands, and probably on Earth ! <3

We stayed at the accommodation in Thesinge as a family of four over the Whitsun weekend and really enjoyed it. The place is so beautiful that at times you wonder whether it's all a painting or reality. The house and the rooms are very spacious and tastefully decorated. It is very quiet and you can really relax. The hostess is very friendly and accommodating. The vegetarian breakfast was extremely tasty with fresh fruit, homemade bread, boiled and/or fried eggs, yogurt, muesli, jam, fresh orange juice, cappuccino, tea and pancakes. We used the time to visit the lively student city of Groningen. We also went on a day trip to the island of Ameland. The ferry port is about an hour's drive away and the ferry crossing takes another 50 minutes. The island is beautiful and is perfect for cycling and walking on the beach and in the dunes. Of course, the excellent weather also contributed to the fact that we felt completely at ease, but all in all, the accommodation and the surrounding area are highly recommended. The pictures cannot demonstrate the beauty of this little country house. It is like it emerged from the fairy tails that we were reading as kids. The owners have paid attention to every single detail; the decoration is amazing and everything fits perfectly. It was spotless. It even had vegan milk on a coffee table to make your own beverage, remote controls for the lights, board games, iron with iron board, a vacuum e.tc. The owner was very friendly, polite and helpful.
Staying here was a great experience; even my adolescent children loved it. I definitely recommend it and I know that I will revisit some day
