The bed is incredibly comfortable and the location and interior is lovely. The spa area is amazing (but could do with a way to wash feet when coming in and out, perhaps provide slippers?). The food in the restaurant was wonderful and all the staff were attentive.

Absolutely nothing - the place was not very clean, I had to go up the stairs (with the luggage) which had dirty linen laying around. The room had been cleaned but was in a poor state maintenance wise and I would not expect my wife to use the shower facilities.
On seeing the room, I made the decision not to stay and arranged other accommodation.
I stayed in the hotel with my retired parents for 3 nights. It was a comfortable stay. We could have a rest after busy days. The hotel is in a quiet place, away from any town, which was just what we needed. The breakfast was good, although you'd better come earlier if you want to have a greater selection of food. There's amble parking space, the restaurant is big, the rooms were enough for the 3 of us. Kettle, tea and coffee in the room, which is a bonus.
we were two.friends and I requested two seperate beds through booking. Wr got a very nice room with one huge bed, but without separate parts. Instead the hotel manager kindly offered us two smaller rooms for the same price. Excellent solution.
