The room was lovely, with a view on trees and nature.
However what we liked best was the food at the Brasserie. It was delicious. Best fries in as long as we can remember. And every course was equally amazing.
The location was exactly what we wanted, to be lost in nature for a weekend. However having lovely common spaces indoors was really great: the pool, the sauna, the little reading corners, the bar and restaurant, the lounge area with a fireplace... These communal areas are the reason we will be back!

I was only staying in Bergen as I wanted to be close to Alkmaar where I travelled to from the hotel. The buses were very clean and nice to travel on but unfortunately they did not run at the scheduled times, I found i had longer waits than anticipated.

Bergen has a nice atmosphere, a great selection of restaurants and a few pleasant shops too - far more than you would expect from a modest sized village. It's a short cycle ride to the beach and an even shorter ride to Alkmaar so it makes a perfect base for exploring this part of North Holland.
During our stay at the cottage near Bergen, we were pleasantly surprised by the excellent amenities; everything had been thought of! From the fully equipped kitchen to the comfortable beds and the cozy decor, every detail contributed to an unforgettable experience. It was clear that the host had left nothing to chance to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a carefree base in this beautiful area!
Cosy cabin close to the Dunes between Edmond and Bergen - for us the perfect combination. We biked (+/- 10 minand walked (+/-40 min) to the beach and enjoyed the beautiful outdoor area of the apartment. The open-plan kitchen was very convenient and the family loved gathering around the big table for games and meals. The master bedroom was very comfy, the other bedrooms are bit dark and tight. So, only for sleeping intended.
The location was amazing and walkable to everything in the center of Bergen.
The personal service was super! Before our stay I received email and WhatsApp instructions from the owners. I let them know that we drink lots of coffee and they made sure that there was enough in the room. Check in/out was very easy, also with no staff on the premise.
This was a bizarre hotel with a few great things and far too many negative points. The staff were very nice and the breakfast was great too. The bed was very comfortable and I slept very well in it considering it wasn’t very long and my feet were hanging out. Location great for any business in Bergen.
Really cute neighborhood in the heart of Bergen. Great breakfast with a good coffee machine. Very friendly staff who helped us out when we left an item behind. They went above and beyond to help us get it back. I cannot say enough nice things about the staff.
The location is great and the hotel has a lot of natural hikes available. The swimming pool is a must try. The breakfast and lunch menus had a lot of varieties, with great dinner service. Definitely recommended for a short stay!
