Sweet Spirit Hotel is a disappointing lodging option located in Port Harcourt. I had to change rooms 3-times due to various maintenance issues. The listing on booking states that they accept credit cards, but neither my Visa nor my Mastercard worked with their machine, so make sure to have lots of naira on hand to pay your bill. I can't recommend the hotel, but it's okay for one night if you can't find anything else.
Nigeria travel tip: Book directly with hotels and not online because the rate will be much cheaper due to the rapidly falling value of the Nigerian naira versus the dollar or Euro.

The entire staff went out of their way to ensure it was a great trip throughout my stay.
Breakfast was good and the evening meals were well prepared, fresh and hot. Nothing was too much trouble. From getting me in some sweet biscuits to arranging a driver to greet me at the airport upon arrival. The hotel was spotless and all areas were very clean and tidy. Bottled water supplied in room every day and housekeeping regularly cleaned and replenished the room.
Was given an upgrade upon arrival and having the extra space to work in the evenings was great.
Overall a very well run, safe and clean hotel in a bustling part of town. Ideally situated for my business trip.
Highly recommend to any expat/local travellers visiting Port Harcourt as a fantastic value for money/safety/ambiance place to stay.

The environment so clean, the security, the staffs are up to sort out any of your requests no matter the time, even if it is midnight, located inside a private estate, very neat, calm and quiet. Good food, nice swimming pool, you can't find these small small boys there, making noise etc.
The owner is welcoming, I will recommend for my staffs, the pictures did not tell much about this place, you might get discouraged. But when you get to the Lodge, you will definitely be happy to give your reviews and also wants to recommend. The price is also cheap. Better than several hotels in PH and Lagos. I had to Inform the owner who called to check up on me in the morning if I was ok 🥰🥰😊😊😊 God bless him, giving so much hospitality for a little fee, it's more like giving back to your community. Elites lodge, I am giving you 10stars. I will visit again and again. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
