The breakfast was very delicious! Every morning we received a basket filled with fresh bread, croissants, muffins, jam, vegetables and more. On top you could order fresh eggs or pancakes in different styles (scrambled, hard boiled, sunny side up, sweet, fresh, sour, ecc). The Lodge is located very closely to the Erongo Mountains and offers a breathtaking view over the surrounding mountains and landscape. Dinner was always exquisite.
The Lodge offers a variety of activities (Nature Drives, sundowner walks, mountain bike tours, hiking trails, ecc) and the Guides are just the best!
Overall, we had two great days at the Ai Aiba Rock Painting Lodge!

Omurenga is a hidden gem in a breathtaking location. The view from the rooms is simply amazing und the scenic drives and nature walks are a great experience. The best part of the stay, however, was Marli, who made us feel so welcome and prepared the most delicious meals in the evenings.

Beautiful setting with camping chairs to view the mountain outside our tent. The shower was very rustic and the aircon a bonus in the bedroom. The restaurant was well located and had an awesome terrace. The staff were all excellent.

Our room was clean and comfortable, the staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good, included yogurt, fruit, cereal, bread & a warm plate of egg, bacon and sausage.
The lovely grounds. The room was a little disappointing ..
The lovely grounds. The room was a little disappointing .. Looking into road entrance and neighbours open messy garden. Room quite small. Evening meal and breakfast were sub standard.
They were very helpful and changed our booking dates, due to sickness that delayed us by a week.
Magical place, worthwhile driving the 1,5h on dirt roads coming from Omaruru. Surrounded by beautiful nature - passing through a reserve with black rhino, lion and leopard - seated on the mountain in absolute silence, except for the baboon calls. Excellent hopemade food for dinner and breakfast in a very romantic setting on the terrace overlooking the mountains. Beautiful lodge to stay in! Definitely a must see, must go, must stay place!
Was my third or fourth time staying at the Omaruru Guesthouse and it is always a pleasure. Probably the best bang for buck in most of Namibia. You get clean rooms with a big shower, AC and heater in the rooms, a pool, restaurant next door, friendly and helpful staff as well as an extended continental breakfast including the options for different kinds of fresh made eggs. Moreover, the staff is always available to serve a cool drink.
The lodge is in a great location easily accessible from Windhoek and Omaruru. The hosts were friendly and entertaining and the accommodation was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our three night stay. watching birds and taking leisurely walks. The breakfasts were the best we’d had on our trip and the dinners we ate were good too.
The location was just beautiful and the design of the hotel is lovely. Highlight of the stay was the morning walk/drive with Dion. He was a hugely knowledgeable guide who was clearly passionate about his job. Kitchen tried to cater for vegan and vegetarian guest.
Hotel was great, room modern and spotless, and everyone wonderfully helpful. The evening game drive was a real bonus - amazing views, lovely sunset plus a few animals also.
Best Hotel ever. A must-go
Wish we spent a week there and not only one night.
