Its a quiet area, perfect if you want a peaceful get away as well as for fishing and surfing. Best place to eat @ Salt restaurant, maybe because it was near to our location. Its easy to get around once you familiarize yourself with the street names.

Langstrand is beautiful, I never get enough BUT I very strongly discourage anyone from booking a privately managed apartment at Bayview, its a raw deal. My host was the greatest at being the worst. She had no respect for the market that the bayview brand had brought to her apartment. Be careful when making a booking at Bayview and ensure that the room/apartment is managed by Bayview and not some.private person

Well we thought the property was very nice and the room is large, the location was somewhat isolated. 20 minutes to either Swakopmund or Walvis Bay. If taking tours though, pick up at the hotel is available. Sky Bar and restaurant are both good.

The central location between Walvis Bay and Swakopmund, in close proximity to many attractions and activities is the biggest plus. The area feels largely unspoilt and views of the sea in front and desert on the other side is magnificent
