Apart from a few really dirty streets, everything else was scenic and enjoyable.

Beira is a Harbour and not a Holiday destination.
Beira is a Harbour and not a Holiday destination. If you are coming from Vilankulos, don't expect the same set up. Sea Water is Harbour water. Don't expect seafood at low price because of the sea.

Good city, fairly paced.
Good city, fairly paced. Not too much traffic if you compare to Maputo. Majority of roads are ok and well accessed. Nice hangout places for family and friends. Nice icre-cream at Comilão and Nice vibe and overall services at Solange, with live music, bar food incorporated.
