The room and facilities in it were great. It was only accessible by climbing up 70 steps, no problem if you are fairly fit, and meant for a great view. Help was available to carry up luggage on arrival, but not on departure .

I loved loved loved the property. The design is gorgeous. It's close to the main beach but not on the beach so you get more privacy but it doesn't feel isolated. From here you can pretty much walk to most things. The house itself was clean, cosy, felt inviting, there's housekeeping everyday and Laura the host is really wonderful. Laura really looks after you when you there and as a solo female traveler I never felt unsafe. I cannot wait to return lol it was amazing. See you soon Sunset Tofo!

Mozambeat is a little oasis. The staff are very warm, helpful and friendly. The breakfast was top notch every day and the “chill” areas were great to just unwind and read a book in. A little mini fridge in the room would’ve been the cherry on top.

The place is out of this world. It is simply amazing. A definite must go to place in Inhambane. I loved the location, the scenery, the food was good. Oh, and the people were extremely nice.

Praia do Tofo itself is Paradise.
However, avoid using LAM to travel at all costs. On our trip there one of our bags was simply left in Johanneburg and only reached us 3 days later. On our trip back, our flight was delayed for 18 hours and then cancelled with no indication of when a flight will be available. We had to charter a bus to get to Maputo to ensure we were home for Christmas. In both cases, LAM was extremely unhelpful. No information could be provided. Not even an apology was offered. To date we have not been able to secure a refund for the cancelled flight.

Great view..
Great view.. We booked for 3 nights stayed the first and then left.
Room smells like sewage at night.
Water from taps and in toilet is brown.
Safe does not work and could not be fixed. So nowhere to keep our important docs. RE car papers and passports.
Wind blowing through the doors at nights.
Restaurant is very slow. Only 3 tables wer full and waited almost 1h 25mins for supper.
We had a sleepless night. Reception did nothing to help. No manager on duty.
Sent a email to the property with no answer.
We drove 6 hours back to Bilene and booked for the remainder two nights.
One good thing here is the view.

Do not trust owner if they say look at picture their is not integrity with them, they only want your money....Putting 4 adults into a room not bigger that a store room, what did they think only amount money....And telling people whom never was their before and whom trusted in peoples integrity to look at photos....Photos lies more than humand....Absolute disgrace could have rather advice us to someone else than to be money obsessive and making our holiday a great disaster. And the toilet, shower and basin water was brown like sewerage water and also smelt that way......

Loved Tofo! It is rustic and just awesome. Get smaller denominations of the currency as it makes buying at the local markets easier.
Loads of activities - obviously mostly water based. If you want quad biking or fat bike riding - try the resort Sentidos for that.
