The rides in Outdoor Theme park were good. The queues were long. The SkyWorlds app was top class.
But their system of using the VR Queue (express Q) is quite perplexing. Some of the rides force you to use VR Queue option only.
I recommend that you use the app and book your VR queues early in the day, as there are limited slots for each ride.
I was unimpressed that none of the vendors at the outdoor park accepted cash payments or TnG card payment. They only accepted eWallet and Credit cards!! Even the food court at the outlet mall only accepted eWallet and Credit cards!
Cable car ride was breath taking and a must do. We did it two ways. But the waiting time can be quite long
.
Indoor theme park was not comparable with outdoor theme part, but the queues were much shorter, so there is more value for the time spent.

For those staying in Kuala Lumpur, the short drive up the mountain to Genting is a quick escape for a lovely short stay. Only remember to plan your stay - avoid weekends, public holidays and school holidays and you are in for a cool treat with fresh mountain air, great aerial views and a refreshing rewind.

It was a bit crazy trying to drive to Genting highlands people drive crazy and to fast , the road is very curvy and steep , the signage is a little confusing and it’s easy to get lost so just have a little extra time to get to your destination, the weather was lovely , on the cool side so take a jumper , lots of amazing shopping and food
If staying at the hotels make sure you book in advance and bring your passport for self check in
If your going to SkyWorlds outdoor theme park check before you buy your tickets which rides are currently being refurbished

We made the mistake of visiting at peak time between Xmas and New Year, meaning that we had to queue for everything, sometimes up to 1.5 hours for either the Gondola or the main attractions for the kids. Finding your way around the first day is challenging, especially in the Sky World Theme Park area. The Gondola ride is fun and some of the rides awesome if you can handle the queues. The Premium Outlet mall was actually disappointing and we did most of our shopping at Sky World where prices were only slightly higher but goods better quality. Food was generally bland and disappointing. The good places that we did enjoy were the Thai Restaurant (for spice) and O'Briens (for healthy food with good service). Five Guys burgers were popular with the kids. Avoid the western type restaurants on the top level. The atmosphere is great but the food ordinary.

It's a good place to visit.
It's a good place to visit. I would recommend going up the gondola/skyscraper early morning to best the queue and have breakfast up top. The bottom of Genting Islands does not have much choice in regards to breakfast/food in general.
The area is nice and cool in terms of temperature and cleanness. If you're into theme parks book an extra day to make full fun day

Spacious room, clean pillows & bed sheet, nice thick comfortable pillows not like mostly hotel.
nice 60" TV with quality audio, even listen to radio with low volume.
nice corridor with kid swimming pool, tree & hill view, also can hear like waterfall sound.
not to mention the friendliness of the receptionist.
decide to stay in room with only take a cup of tea for breakfast until check out, just to enjoy the calm & peacefullness.
will come back bcause not so far, hopefully nothing change.
Good location - walking distance from the bus terminal.
Swift service - we checked in after 4pm. There was a long queue and confusion at the lobby of First World Hotel where people were trying to check in. At Skyworlds, check-in took less than 5 mins.
Room - spacious and has everything we need for a short stay. Would be better if Singapore's Ch 8, U and 5 are available on the TV.
WIFI - signal was strong, quick connection.
We had the pleasure of staying at the Grand Ion Delemen Hotel with our family, and it was an unforgettable experience. From start to finish, our time at this hotel was exceptional. The accommodations were spacious and comfortable, perfect for a family. The room was well-maintained and offered all the amenities we needed. The staff was courteous and always ready to assist us with any request.
We've been to Genting Highland many times before. And the resort world facilities are continually improving. That's why we keep going back. It's not totally centred around the casinos any more. Year by year it's becoming more and More family orientated. Plus being high in the mountains it's very cooling. A nice change from the 30 plus temperatures of the towns and cities.
The hotel is 5 star class. Right from the start at the very nice lobby, greeted with welcome drinks and very helpful and polite staff. Up to the beautiful rooms. It was really a 5 star hotel for us very well worth it. Definitely the best hotel if you want to travel to genting. It is connected to the shopping mall and also to the indoor and outdoor skyworld theme park.
I love the cozy, comfortable, ambient room, quite spacious, suitable for families. very good service & friendly from staff. staff very accommodative & well trained. Hotel located very near to Skyworlds Theme Park. Variety Foods & Grocer Mart also available in the Mall. Will choose this Hotel again because of convenience & easy to access to all.
Clean, spacious, comfy, great breakfast! Worth the price.I want to send my gratitude to Mr.Andy n Mr.Karim, they were being so helpful on my booking and everything went very smooth without any delay from their side. Most recommended hotel it is my second time for chosing this hotel and wll alwiz book this hotel when visit genting.
pretty new place and very clean as it’s new. but the point going there is mainly to visit Genting casino and resort. there’s shuttle bus which can book only online. if can not get to book then taxi is very expensive for short drive- literally can see the Genting from the hotel but too expensive so transporting is not convenient
The apartment was spacious than ordinary hotel room. Very good value for money. Most of the time, guests just stay here to sleep at night because during the day, they will go up to Genting Highland for themepark activities or shopping. Anyway, its good to have nice view and modern apartment like Geo38 to stay.
I like the location, its just right below the awana sky station; the hub of the public transport, the premium outlet, and the cable car going uphill to Genting Highland. I also like the scenery from my room, the hotel really accommodate my request for high floor. The foods at the hotel also superb.
Location was good. If you have a car there is free parking on site. Getting to genting SkyWorlds was easy. Around a 15 min drive. Mynews right at the hotel lobby which was very convenient for snacks.
1) Staff were friendly and helpful
2) Good location from main attractions in Genting Highlands
3) Rooms were spacious and clean, with good views of the highlands from the balcony
The location of this hotel is surrounded by a variety of halal restaurants and easy access to Genting Premium Outlets (GPO) and Genting Highland indoor and outdoor theme parks.
The duty Manager Brian was great help. He assisted with us to get a booking at another hotel for our second dayas Crockfords was fully booked. Got us a room at Genting Grand
Convenient to shops nearby also not far from GPO and Genting Highlands.
(Sorry, earlier I put comment is for another homestay in Bangi, Hopefully Booking.com can remove it)
Spacious room. Staff were friendly and helpful. We chose the hotel as we had an event at the football place nearby, quite far from the theme park on the top of Genting.
