The property itself is beautifully maintained and the staff are lovely. Fabulous view from one of the restaurants of the water across to the islands.
A haven for curious travellers On one side lies the picturesque village of Cap Malheureux. On the other, the lively town of Grand Baie.

Coin de Mire Attitude is a lovely resort to stay at, we definitely enjoyed our time here! While the beachfront is across the street, it doesn’t impact the experience that much. There’s a perfect balance between relaxing by the pool or enjoying the beautiful beach. Our room was spacious with a very good shower. The food was excellent both at the breakfast and dinner. We had half board and ate lunch from the food truck, which was very affordable.
Coin de Mire Attitude’s commitment to eco-friendly practices was a definite plus for us!

Design/boutique hotel with 3 pools, 2 of them with tiles. The rooms LOOK good from afar, once you actually live in it you quickly realize many malfunctioning things. For us it was the shower holder and the faucet being detached, the toilet window not fully closing (meaning we were woken up by birds and staff all night long) and the hairdryer stopping after a minute or 2. After reporting the faucet, it got repaired and broke again within the same day…
The food is good, the drinks on the other hand not so much. Prices for food and drinks are fair though.
This hotel was part of our honeymoon trip and we didn’t receive any extra service for that - I did overhear that they do give it for more than 3 nights stay.
Also beware that 10% extra charge will be billed for tipping.
Loungers by the beach were pretty much always taken but when doing proper search it was always possible to find a spot.
We did appreciate the availability of various games and books to read.

The villa is stunning! It's even better than the photographs. The 4 bedrooms have super-king-size beds and huge wardrobes, There are lots of bathrooms, the living areas are gorgeous and the decor is beautiful. The views are spectacular! The location is great, only a 10/15 min drive to Grand Baie, Trou au Biches. There is a hotel next door called Paradise Cove, its adults adults-only. The terrace at the villa is incredible, we sat out every evening and looked at the stars. We cooked and ate at the villa 4 nights, the kitchen is well equipped, and the local intermart is only 5 min drive away. I would absolutely book this villa again if I came back to Mauritius.

We had a very comfortable stay in this place. Easy check-in and check out (much more easier than most hotels), huge parking space, safe, lots of kitchen amenities if you have plans to cook during your holiday.
The owner is so responsive and willing to help about everything. If you be a nice kid, she even can tell you how to go to a secret beach 5 minutes away from the place. 😬🥰

The garden was quite nice, the apartment was spacious. There was no problem with check in and check out. There was good communication with the host via whatsup.

Don't believe we got the best sea view room in the hotel - but.....
Beds were very hard - but apparently if you ask you can get a "topper" mattress - but we didn't know that
Food for a large hotel relies substantially on a buffet system - which the hotel did well - constantly changing themes.
There are 3 a la carte restaurants although 2 of them are choice of 2 options through the menu - and one carried a £15.00 per head surcharge. And a Lobster night carried a £90.00 per head surcharge.
The third (Coral) was excellent and had a bit wider choice. Street food for lunch was an excellent idea.
Boat trips were good and plenty of other "things to do" other than 3 swimming pools - all lovely.
"No Kids" label was frankly terrific!

Interesting laid back and relaxing location...great views...
Interesting laid back and relaxing location...great views and just a great place to be especially if you'd like a more "normal" less hotel-ly experience of this fantastic island. Island easy to get around with a car. We stayed a week which was great...10 days would be ideal as I didn't manage to get to the reserve island or do as much snorkelling as I'd have liked

Wonderfully attentive staff. They will go the extra mile to ensure you are comfortable and taken care of. The place is pure paradise and there is ample room for all guests. The food too is great. Couldn’t recommend the place any higher! It was also my fiancé’s birthday when we were there. I informed the hotel beforehand many weeks before and they remembered everything on arrival without prompting and gave my fiancé a wonderful birthday.
Excellent welcome at reception with drink and cool towel. Helped with bags and quick check-in.
Nicely landscaped grounds. Room is very spacious, king-size bed and sofa makes it very comfortable. Bathroom area is large as well. Hotel is not too big so only a couple of minutes from reception to room. Staff are friendly and professional. Fairly busy road outside hotel but security always on hand to ensure safety. Bar staff excellent.

There was nothing to not like. The space, the food and the amazing hospitality of the two owners just made this stay perfect. It was the best hotel we stayed in Mauritius - if you look for something special, boutique, this is the place!
