The location and facilities of the Kempinski Hotel San Lawrenz are undoubtedly one of the best on the island. Having said this though, the hotel should ensure that maintenance works are kept up all throughout the hotel even in the rooms. The furniture in the rooms could use some polish and in some instances they could even be changed and modernised further.

Shanti Ghar is a lovely typical Gozitan farm house renovated to capture its old charm. Amanda is a great host, lovely to talk to, and provided all I needed. It was so refreshing to dive in the pool after a long days walk and my room was clean, spacious with a window balcony.
Thanks for a lovely stay.

We did like the location as it was next to the sea.

The hotel was great and exactly was we wanted. The hotel is in the center of Nadur next to the church. The are two great restaurants attached to the hotel. The Fat Rabbit local food and Del Capo great pizza and burgers and also the breakfast spot. Our room was good with a balcony that had views over most of Gozo. The staff and specially Frankie, front desk manager, were always helpful.
Wonderful town in Gozo. It is very easy to travel all over the Island from here with many of the beaches and attractions less than 15 minutes away. Its nice and quiet too, very relaxing. There is a wonderful family run shop just by the church that sells everything you could want for your stay and a nice place to sit and have a coffee or drink next door. Very friendly people.

San Lawrenz is a very small village in Gozo.
San Lawrenz is a very small village in Gozo. The hotel is situated on the outskirts of this village. There's nothing much to see except for Dwejra and the crafts village. If you decide to stay at the Kempinski hotel I would suggest you hire a car as the hotel albeit beautiful, is literally in the middle of nowhere.

The Resort is beautiful, Staff were excellent and detailed, The food was great, the drinks over priced and no reason for it. More signs are needed to advised people staying were the road is, and at the hotel more signs are needed and information in the room. Otherwise it was a great trip.

San Lawrenz is a typically tiny village in the island of Gozo - very lovely and picturesque set in the middle of the Gozitan countryside. It's an idyllic place away from the hustle and bustle of daily life, just like most of rural Gozo - ideal for a chill-out break

The staff were very friendly and helpful with everything we needed (wine bottle opener, hairdryer, taxis) and they even let us have a later check out time so we could use the spa facilities! Everything was clean & there was a variety of food to choose from at breakfast. We have nothing negative to say about this hotel and will 100% be returning in summer and recommending to friends and family!
Great accommodation in a typical rural house with very thick stone walls - nice neolithic feeling! All this in a quiet village, next to the church, so we slept very well - but count on the bells to wake you up at 6:15 - why at 6:15 I couldn't tell. Friendly host, good breakfast. Very close to the "inland sea" and the most spectacular cliffs of Gozo (well - very close to everything in Gozo by rental car). There are two restaurants near by, albeit we had fresh fish in a seaside reasturant at the inland sea.
A refurbished charming house in the heart of San Lawrenz. The rooms were just what we were after for a short stay.
Hearty breakfast and freshly prepared by the friendly host in the morning. Good value for money.
Not a negative but just want to point out that there is no elevator (as is typical with all B&Bs in Gozo) and some of the bathrooms have a shower whilst others come with a bath.
Pierre and Lorraine run this wonderful guesthouse in the tranquil village of San Lorenzo on Gozo. They welcomed us very warmly and were always ready to answer our questions or give advice. The breakfast was superb and very diverse. And of course, it was always lovely to get greeted by their two super cute little dogs upon arrival.
The farmhouse is in the old Maltese style, complete with antique doors, furniture, and decor. The accommodation is centrally located, peaceful, and quiet, in an area known for its serenity, not far from Dwejra. It’s also pet friendly which is just couple of hotels have in Gozo.
You will also be served delicious Maltese breakfast.
The setting and landscaped gardens were lovely to walk in and there were lots of separate areas in the hotel to sit, eat and drink in. All staff were friendly and helpful and there was a wide range of excellent food available. The hotel created a lovely relaxed atmosphere to spend time in, whilst also being attentive to guests.
Everything was perfect, Room overlooking the pool. Very good Breakfast, Beautiful Pool areas and the Restaurants exceeded all my expectations. Impeccable service from all the Staff and Safety measures were taken care of in all areas of the Hotel.
The location was wonderful, the property itself is stunning, and a large group of 10 people felt like there was more than enough common and private space with individual bathrooms that made our stay perfect.
Beautiful hotel room with ample space to fit two adults, two children and all the toys! Breakfast was delicious. Children were allowed in more than one pool outside and also in the indoor pool.
It’s a beautiful and tastefully furnished old farmhouse right next to the San Lawrenz church. room was spacious and we had all we needed. B’fast was good and the owners were friendly.
This hotel is a well deserved 5 start hotel the location the rooms and facilities are excellent. The restaurants are also very good especially the service at L-istorja restaurant.
The comfort was great, the hotel was very nice in a quiet area, the service was super great and the breakfast has a variety to choose from plus the freshly baked bread ahaha
Beautiful older hotel. Very comfortable with pool, sauna, steam room. Breakfast very good. Having a superior room gave us plenty of space. Dinner was excellent.
The host was very very helpful and the indoor pool was very warm and enjoyable. The pool tempretaure is better than that of 5 star hotels as it was very warm.
