I had a great stay at this hotel! You will find everything you need here – the rooms are spacious and clean, with bathrooms, air conditioning, and the added convenience of a kettle and fridge. The location is perfect, just a short walk to bus stops, restaurants, beaches, and shops, great service from the staff – they were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would definitely recommend this hotel

It was a really nice place. The owner is very friendly, we arrived late and she asked if we needed anything. Access to the house without meeting the owner. There were no additional payments. Such a huge apartment and clean. A large kitchen with everything you need. It is very quiet and there are no tourists around. 17 minutes' walk to the store. I will recommend this place to my friends

Quiet neighborhood, walkable distance from St. Thomas and other beaches, small shops, restaurants are also nearby. The host was nice and flexible The apartment is spacious, clean. The only drawback is that there is only one central AC unit, no separate AC in the bedrooms, which might be slightly uncomfortable in hot weather.

Marsaskala is a safe town but there are better locations on the island. It takes 35 min by bus 135 to get to and from the airport Luqa. Generally speaking Malta should be visited in October , November, March or April in my opinion. In July it is already a desert like - no grass, a few trees and very hot (over 32C) so the best way to rest is nearby a beach or on the boat. It takes 1 hour by bus to the city centre (Valletta). Sandy beaches are on the North(2h by bus) and green hills on the West-North part of Malta. St Julian's is for party animals.

We live on Gozo and enjoy short vacations on Malta and are regular visitors to Marsaskala. The harbor side is well endowed with a mix of good restaurants and bars. There are also ample benches for sitting to watch people and boats. We enjoy walking from the harbor to the site of the old (now deilect) Jerma Palace Hotel and the nearby historic Saint Thomas which is shortly to reopen to the public following a major restoration.

Nice place, very good to eat.
Nice place, very good to eat. But Malta in general is nearly full with buildings. So a lot of people, a lot of traffic.
Maltese people in general are quite secluded, even though everybody speaks English quite well. If you strike up a conversation with somebody in the street, you can be sure it's a foreign traveler too.

I also spent time in Valletta, Sliema and Gozo. I'm so glad I ended the trip in Marsaskala. It's a lot quieter and more comfortable the other places I stayed. It was the perfect way to wind down and enjoy the harbor, the people and the ambiance of Malta before leaving. And it's also closer to the airport!

We had a week in St Pauls Bay so our 2nd week at Marsaskala was most welcome. A quiet coastal village/small town and off of the main tourist route. Having said that, Valletta is only 20 minutes away and easily reached by bus for 2euros or a Bolt Taxi for about 12 euros. Bolt is superb service and cheaper than white taxis & Uber. We used them quite a bit in our 2 weeks when some buses were full.
Marsaxlokk 10 minutes away is well worth a visit, go on Sunday if you want heaving crowds around the market or any other day if you want to enjoy the fishing village with sme 70 fishing boats in the bay, a few market stalls and a very relaxed feel.
If you do visit on Sunday, avoid the stall selling 'Maltese' small biscuits & cakes right opposite the village square/Costa Coffee. There are lots of online warnings about him, items are unpriced but when you come to pay you will be ripped off eg. 5 euro for a 2" almond cake. He won't give you a refund if you complain.
In Marsaskala, 'Cool Waters' bar has excellent food and very reasonably priced.
Orient Market 3 is a big well stocked supermarket with good prices.
Charming apartment with everything contained that might be required for a self catering holiday. Christian was a good host and easy to contact. The apartment was clean, tidy and a joy to be in. Plenty spacious for the 4/5 people it sleeps. The mattresses are quite firm and that is my one and only niggle. Otherwise an exceptional place, close enough to everything in marsaskala. I had family on the other side of the bay and petunia was within 20minutes of everything I needed access to.
Well-serviced, very clean and well-maintained facility. Staff very courteous and friendly in particular Mrs. IOLANDA at reception always with a smile, to whom we send a warm greeting. Excellent restaurant, with the best pizza in all Marsaskala. We will keep a very good memory of this holiday. The place is very quiet.Thank you for everything.
Price-quality category hotel. The location is excellent, close to any kind of establishments, bars, restaurants, cafes, pizzerias. The advantage of the hotel is the presence of a swimming pool on the roof. There is a gym. The room has its own kitchen and also has a balcony.
Spacious apartment with supermarket and phamacy nearby.
The bus station is very close and there are plenty of restaurants in Marsaskala to choose from.
The host is very helpful and communicative.
lovely view of Marsaskala bay
free parking out front
great grocery store just 1 block away
I liked the neighborhood of Marsaskala - lots of restaurants, beach, swimming, etc
