Everything was simply perfect.
The location is quiet, easy to find and perfect to reach every part of the island. Also close to a stunning seaside 5 minutes far by car.
The room is cozy and well decorated, very good taste for the bathroom decoration also.
Amazing breakfast, super nice and kind host, I really felt like I didn’t want to leave!!!
Overlooking Marsalforn Bay, the Calypso features a rooftop swimming pool with sun deck and cocktail bar. The hotel lies on Gozo, 10 km from the Ferry Terminal with connections to Malta.
Hotel San Andrea is situated on the seaside promenade of the Xlendi Bay, just 5 metres from the clear Mediterranean Sea. It offers a genuine restaurant.

We had a lovely, relaxing short stay. The staff was really attentive and the baked Brie, the Octapus Risotto and the breakfast were first class. Already planning our next stay!

Can’t emphasize how the staff were so nice, Frankie/Freddy whatever his name is!! He’s so friendly and did his utmost best to make sure we were well looked after. Can’t meet a better guy, told us a lot about Gozo and Malta and where to go, tips & advice the whole lot. Really down to earth too. Wish him the best, one of the best receptionist I’ve ever met if not the best

A quaint village at the edge of civilization in Gozo.
A quaint village at the edge of civilization in Gozo. Very quiet, a pretty church sits in the middle of the main square next to which there are a couple of local bars/restaurants. Surrounded by beautiful countryside, Ghasri offers tranquillity, serenity and traditional Maltese village life. Main landmarks include the Gurdan Lighthouse, the fabulous valley of Wied il-Ghasri (for country walks) and the secluded sea inlet ideal for swimming/snorkelling/diving.

First of all the couple who owns the B&B is extremely kind, diligent and generous. The day we arrived in Gozo, Glynis and Vince went to pick us up at the terminal ferry and, despite being 20pm, still took us to Victoria for a quick view of the city. Beside that, they drove us to Wied il-Għasri and the Ciutadella with no charges and took us back to the terminal for us to leave the island.
Our room was perfectly clean and beautifully decorated! The bed was very comfortable, we always had fresh water and the neighborhood was extremely quiet. Outside, the garden and the pool were lovely and the breakfast will be one of the best you’ll ever taste. It was served with kindness, love and Gozo’s freshest products. We tried the Benedict eggs, English breakfast and on the last day they made croissants for us!! Oh, and they have the finest house made coffee too, you’ll get addicted!
Finally, we loved this place, we were so well received, it felt like family!!
Thank you so much Glynis and Vince for your hospitality and generosity. We will never forget the most beautiful couple of Gozo.

There is not much to Ghasri, a sleepy, sprawling village really. That suited us fine as we have a young family. You would definitively need a car or bike to get around the island from there, although everything is only five or ten minutes away.
