The house was stunning and in the most perfect location, after visiting lots of towns across Malta it was the best we’d been to! In a great location close to lots of restaurants which we walked to every night. We’ll definitely stay here on our next visit!!

It actually surprised me, the place is much better than the photos.
It’s not very big, but it was enough for me as a solo traveler.

The terrace on the top is really beautiful and it’s close to the bus and ferry to Valletta.

The apartment was truly beautiful and authentic. It's a rarity to find a place that exceeds expectations in real life compared to the pictures. We were fortunate to personally meet the owner, who was exceptionally kind and provided us with numerous recommendations. Additionally, the city of Birgu is charming, and Valetta is conveniently accessible by ferry. If we return to Malta, we will certainly book this apartment again.

Wonderful location near Birgu waterfront served by many eateries and transport options. Comfortable bed (we slept great) and all essentials supplied in the property. Howard the host is superb, he responds quickly and is helpful/flexible when reasonably possible. The local people were a delight! Would have no hesitation using this place again.

Perfect location.
Nice area with character. Very close to great bars , restaurants and the ferry to Valletta.
Nice roof terrace which would have been perfect if the wind had not been so strong in the time we were there.

Beautiful house close to the centre of Birgu and well equipped. The host was excellent and responded to our questions. Birgu is a beautiful historic city which we loved exploring. Great location.
Birgu is a great location to stay in Malta. It is full of history with fabulous Churches, Museums (Maritime and War) and right on the waterfront. Getting to Valetta was easy on the 2 euro water taxis in a few minutes and the Barakia Lift takes you directly to the city.

A quieter, more traditional area of Malta where there are fewer bars, restaurants and shops but also fewer tourists so suited us perfectly. Easy transport links from the harbour by bus or water taxi getting you quickly and cheaply to Valletta and other areas of Malta.
Lots of sites to visit within a short walk, Port Angelo, the Inquisitor's Palace and the Malta at War Museum as well as many others.

One of the 3 Cities, Birgu is a beautiful ancient town with charming streets and architecture. There is a lovely waterfront with bars and restaurants. Lots of tour groups during the day but quiet and local at night. Very easy access to Valletta by cute water taxi or ferry, just a 10 minute ride.

Valetta was easily accessed from Birgu on the Ferry but we really fell in love with Birgu itself. Quieter than Valetta but far more authentic and less bustle. Our location meant we could get out and walk through Birgu and had lots of museums, cafes and restaurants, found a lovely Rock & Gem shop. The Marina was very pleasant and excellent food and drink in the Wild West Bar and Grill. The Square will be lovely after the construction work.

Burgu is quaint and charming.
Burgu is quaint and charming. I liked it a lot better than Valetta and definitely better than Silema. I felt like I was in a real Maltese town with the locals. There's a small pastry shop in the square that sells paztizzi for 50 cents and they were amazing. There are several nice restaurants around the square and many small shops throughout the town that sell unique, handcrafted souvenirs. Overall, I loved Birgu.

Loved this spot.
Loved this spot. Easy to get around and great locals so got a real sense of Malta. In the evening we ate around the square. Our favourite restaurants were D’Central and the Vittoriosa gastric pub. And do walk the inner streets of Birgu. Real gems.
