Remo e Berenice, hotel in Andimaka

Remo e Berenice provides accommodation in Nosy Komba. Set on the beachfront, this property has water sports facilities, an open-air bath and a garden.

Remo e Berenice was an incredible place to stay. Despite booking based on lots of fantastic reviews, it exceeded our expectations! We were greeted with fresh coconuts and a welcoming smile and we loved every day spent exploring Nosy Komba and the surrounding area, The location was amazing, located on a small stretch of private beach and accessible only by boat (or foot from the local village). The room was clean and spacious and the food was delicious, including freshly caught fish and seafood. We were able to borrow kayaks and snorkelling gear to explore the house reef. The manager was extremely friendly and helpful and was able to arrange anything we asked, including a short walk around the island, where we saw numerous fruit, veg and lemurs, as well as seeing life in the local Malagasy village. Thank you for our fresh coffee outside our room each morning! We experienced a few highlights of our whole trip during our stay here - firstly the snorkelling at Nosy Tanikely and Sakadia - we felt so special to snorkel alongside giant sea turtles, sharks and other tropical fish with NO tourists around. This meant that the sea-life wasn't scared away and we could watch them for as long as we wanted (Just don't forget to take your underwater camera to Madagascar like we did!!). Secondly sunset at the local village - we took an evening walk, kindly led by one of the staff that worked at the resort. He took us to a stretch of beach by his house where we drank from fresh coconuts that he cut down from a nearby palm tree, whilst watching Malagasy life as the sun went down. We loved the view over the beach and also seeing the moon and stars from the pier. Overall we absolutely loved it - you will miss out if you don't stay here!

VERONIKA Resort Nosy Komba, hotel in Andimaka

VERONIKA Resort Nosy Komba has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Nosy Komba. The property features a bar, as well as a restaurant serving local cuisine.

The sunsets are amazing. It's perfect for a quiet, relaxing retreat. Beautiful location. The staff are very professional, and everything was smoothly organised. Eva was a superstar, she has great English, as did Romanes. The owner is welcoming and friendly, clearly very organised, and experienced in hospitality. Lots of excursion options, and you are reminded of them daily. Beautifully finished accommodations with local touches. Absoutely spotlessly clean - the cleaners are friendly with such beautiful smiles. Diving was good fun with plenty to see, and we were very well cared for and felt very comfortable (we have dived before but not often and are not experts). Also, equipment was in really good shape. The lemurs always come to say hi. Quiet. Serene. Wonderful getaway.

Picalélouba, hotel in Andimaka

Featuring accommodation with a patio, Picalélouba is located in Nosy Komba. This beachfront property offers access to a balcony. Staff on-site can arrange airport transfers.

The house is in a beautiful location with a lovely view. It has everything you need for a relaxing holiday stay. Very comfortable and the staff are extremely friendly. Unfortunately, we couldn't speak French, so we couldn't have nice conversations with them but they were all very friendly and helpful. We can highly recommend it for future guests. Just make sure to bring enough supplies of water and food from the mainland when you come as there are no shops close by.

Tamarin Lodge, hotel in Andimaka

With Ampangorinana Beach reachable in a few steps, Tamarin Lodge provides accommodation, a restaurant, a garden, a shared lounge and a terrace. The lodge offers an à la carte or continental breakfast....

The hotel has a really beautiful garden which is sometimes visited by the black lemurs that live nearby (females are reddish-brown) and will appreciate if you give them bananas. The rooms are cool bungalows with nice porches with a view to the garden. It's right next to a village where you could buy small necessities and souvenirs. The entrance to the park (jungle) is near it too. The owners speak some English, they're very friendly and helpful where they can. The hotel restaurant offers a variety of dishes, I tried some and I really liked the zebu carpaccio. My partner liked the pancake-batter shrimp.
