Kids loved it and so did we,it was very cosy,clean and those little touches as fresh flowers was lovely.There is everything what you need,even games and toys for kids,poll table and sauna was top thing for us.Beds was very comfy.Very happy family🥰We will go there next time we will visit Bauska.

The castle is very interesting to visit. It has been restorated, but nicely. Good collection of old things and there are the old fashion costumes. Unfortunately the city is crowded with cars driving from Letland to Lithuania , because the route goes through Bauska. To visit Rindales palace just take the bus ( once an hour for 1 euro), it is 15 minutes driving. Please be careful when checking the times yo travel back. Not all departure times are applicable to all days

Bauska has a few old houses in the center and a castle that is worth visiting, otherwise the small town is of a need of renovations. And the heavy truck traffic through the little town is a desaster!
However, Bauska is an excellent location to visit the phantastic castle of Rundäle, the Versailles of Latvia, and that visit requires almost a full day, so plan at least two nights in Bauska
Breakfast was unexpectedly good. A little banquet with the mayonnaise vegetable salads with some kind of meat. The eggs were just okay. There were blinzes. and the room and food were only $30.
This is a Soviet Era hotel that was modeled after the Holiday Inns but more quirky. There was the red floral carpeting and the odd wallpaper. I felt like I was on a movie set from East Germany before the wall came down. These countries are incredible bargains. A "small" dinner was enough for two and only $12 with a beer and soup!
It is little rustic log house in the countryside. Driving some 12 kms from Bauska the main highway to Lithuania you will see on the left side Virtsu petrol station. Just next you will see roadside funny cafe (Pit Stop kafejnica) made of wood. The owners of the cafe have in the back the separate house you will stay. Downstairs there are tables to eat and floor to dance, upstairs there are big rooms to sleep. I spent the night in the bed 2,5 by 3 m! The wifi is reliable and good breakfast is included.
The room was very big, the biggest hotel room I've ever been accommodated in. Very clean room and friendly staff. The room comes with a breakfast and this was a nice addition. The Spa was clean with many kinds of saunas that we enjoyed.
All together was an interesting experience like a travel in time

Due tothe bridge renovation, there was no road to get to the hotel. No outdoor lamps. No conditioner. Wc was not working properly. And it costs much more than market price and there was no breakfast included. Wont go ever again to this place!
Very relaxing place. Ideal for a couple. Pirts inside the house very clean and nice (not electric, connected to the wood stove). Hot tube very good, too. 10 minutes by car to Bauska.
The price is cheaper than most hotels outside of Riga. The lobby was pretty, and the staff was nice and friendly.The bus stop and the nicest restaurant are right by the hotel.
The room was nice and had everything you need for a family of 3. Good location, quiet place, the parking is in front of the Hotel. I will definitely come back! Alex
