We liked the central pedestrian area and the area around the lake. A ride on the little train was a bonus. The person at the information was friendly and informative. Some nice restaurants around the main square.

I mostly stayed in the central parts of the town as I had to attend lectures at KTU. The lunches were arranged by the conference, so I did not eat out much, but I found a zander fish with white wine sauce at Kranto gatve that was just finger-licking good!
I'm one of those weird people who just cannot stand squat toilets. Unfortunately I had to come across a couple in Panevėžys. I hope they will be gone shortly. They're just sooo yukky!

Quiet city and as we happened to be there during the heat wave, not a lot of places to go and enjoy the summer night, The reason for our stay was to do a daytrip to Kaunas and then continue our trip back to Latvia.
Everything was perfect, Apartment is new with everything you need inside, i was feeling just like in my home. Location is perfect 2 mins walk to bus station, 2 mins to city square. Owners were very responsive and ready to help with everything we needed. They also sends some information about what we can see around the city. Apt. Was very very clear , simply perfect place to stay while in Panevezys.
This is one of the rare cases where the pictures do not reflect the reality in a positive way! The apartment is super cozy, clean, the self check in instructions were very clear to follow! Just around the corner is the famous restaurant Čičinskas (1 minute walk).
The host was extremely kind and helpful.
Will definitely stay again if we will need a place in Panevėžys!
The LOFT Forentinn is really great opportunity to stay for a holiday or a business. Our holiday for a week was fantastic. The hotel location is perfect only two minutes from the city centre. At night was a quiet and comfortable sleep. The staff are excellent, they quickly respond if needed. Highly recommend this hotel and definitely, we will back there again :)
