This is a basic hotel with a large room and a reasonable-sized bathroom that is kept clean.
The hotel borders a forecast, and the hotel grounds are covered with various types of trees and plants. In the morning, various birds bird chirping give us a feeling we are in the middle of a forest. A swimming pool is located in the middle of the hotel grounds.
The rooms were kept clean with a large bed. Comfortable mattresses (firmness 4.5 out of 5).
The bathroom is simple but kept clean.
Laundry service is available – single washing machine and tumble dryer usage costs circa £10. That is reasonable compared to many other hotels.
The restaurant is available, and the food is reasonable, but it has a limited menu. On the main road, a 15-minute walk from the Hotel, a few restaurants and convenient shops are located.
Staff – All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Willing to go the extra mile to give us the satisfaction.
Note: The visitors were advised not to venture out of the hotel without guidance after 7 pm due to the presence of wild elephants.
I will return to this hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay at Lario. We were warmly greeted by the owners, Rita and Roshan, and the super friendly staff. They helped us book a tuk tuk for an early visit to Sigyria.
Our room was big and nicely decorated. A/C worked well. And you can pay your stay by card! 100% recommended!

So much to do and see! 3 nights is plenty, but easy to fill it! We had a driver which made getting around super easy, but there are countless tuktuks you can rent.

It was a very expensive entry fee to the rock, USD32 per person. The guides around the base are very persistent and can become a nuisance. We had a good tuk tuk ride round the base, which was lovely and booked privately, oh and it's perfectly ok to haggle on the price.
Plenty of local cafes and juice bars. Fab place was The Green Hut Hotel, just 10 mins walk from Lion Rock, lovely rooms, great English speaking host and super food. Local temple worth a 15 minute look see.
Tuk tuks everywhere and good value.
Safari to Minneriya was great, saw loads of elephants.

We spend one night here.
We spend one night here. Depending on what you want to do it was plenty of time. We arrived in the early afternoon checked into our accommodation and went to Dambulla Cave Temple. The following morning we got up before sunrise to climb Lion Rock, which despite what people say, is worth it. The fee was acceptable for us since it is a UNESCO site. After the hike we had breakfast and made our way further south.

What a wonderful location!
What a wonderful location! The pool was a true blessing after our exhausting flight, and the environment is quite soothing. Asanka's meal was incredibly delicious. The personnel was really helpful!
The Nature Park Villa offers you a tree-house style accomodation in the middle of the jungle! After the arrival we had a swim in the really nice pool and the host Omesh was serving us cool drinks directly at the sunbed. They have an on-site restaurant where we had dinner - the portions were huge and the food was delicious! We stayed there for one night as for us it was best located to hike the Sigiriya Rock early in the morning. They have their own Tuk Tuk driver, therefore transfers to any places you want to go can be easily made by them.
Milton and his family (and dog) were amazing hosts for us for 2 nights.
Their hospitality and service was exceptional. Milton gave us first class treatment by driving us around town and being our personal guide. He even showed us elephants. The breakfast was delightful with a good mix of traditional and western food homemade by his wife. The hotel was very close to the Main Street with lots of cafes and restaurants. It was fun to see monkeys on the trees at the hotel. It was a nice view to Sigiriya rock from the hotel.

A big plus point for the architecture. Unlike the other hotels around, Sigiriya Jungles give a more authentic experience since the architecture is inspired by the Sigiriya Kingdom itself not forgetting that the hotel has an amazing view of Sigiriya rock.
The food was top notch and ask for the village cycle tour and other activities the hotel offers.

Great family who runs this and the restaurant a little further. They warned me upfront for the tuktuk drivers in Dambulla. Had a cooking class from Mali, which was super! Breakfast varies from day to day and is also delicious. The whole family is there to give you the best time in Sigiriya, and they are happy to arrange trips for you.

This hotel was an awesome stay. Ranjith and his family were so hospitable. His wife is an amazing cook! We ate breakfast, lunch, and dinner here. It was all excellent, her curry brings tears to my eyes. The rooms are very clean and WiFi was very strong. I was able to take my work calls here. This is a hidden gem in Sigiriya. It’s a lovely property in the jungle, very cute cabins and a great value! The hotel staff is very friendly and welcoming, 100% recommend staying here! Location is also great for Sigiriya and Pidurangala, highly recommend hiking Pidurangala at sunrise, even though it was a bit cloudy when we went, it was still a gorgeous view. We also got to see monkeys!
We thought that the food was excellent, staff helpful without being overbearing and great pool. The hotel seems likely to be owned and operated by a local family so it's good to support rather than the bigger chains. Best place we stayed in Sri Lanka and exceptional value for money. Location just outside of sigiriya village which is what we wanted.
A Grade hotel in the sigiriya. We enjoyed happy weekend in the hotel. My family members had successfull happy stayed the villa. The hotel manager contacted the tuk tuk driver for the village tour. The tour price is low than out side tuk tuk drivers. Tasty foods. Breckfast is better. Staff veryvery frendly.
I really liked the cleanliness of the room and the friendliness of all of the staff! Priyantha and his whole family are so kind and giving. They helped us arrange transport, helped us do our laundry, and fed us the best breakfast. Highly recommend it to anyone wanting a homey feeling when in Sigiriya.

The location close to both Pidurangala and Sigiriya rocks was good. Both could be walked to from the hotel. The staff were all really friendly and helpful and the activities such as cycling to see bird life, lorris walk at night and elephant safari were excellent.
