what an amazing property. we were thoroughly looked after and nothing was too much trouble. the food was exceptional. we wanted traditional Sri Lankan curries and that’s what was prepared for us with spices and fresh herbs and vegetables from the garden. the rooms were huge. the gardens and views were stunningly beautiful and so quiet except for the sounds of the birds and monkeys. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻💕

Superb location, it has nice views of Puna ella waterfall and lokking over the kotmale reservoir. Can see the lower ramboda falls also. We were very satisfied with spacious room and the views it offered. Super relaxing spot. Food was good and they had a big SL food menu.They have very friendly staff.

We stayed in the cabana (which on bookings is the quadruple room). It was perfect. Away from main hotel, an attractive wooden chalet with a wrap around balcony. Folding doors open fully to the balcony from the front of the room with views down the valley. The sound of the river below was great as we watched the sunset. Room was very clean and if you need it, there’s a fridge, microwave and preparation area for food. We ate at the hotel, food was good. Hotel staff were all very lovely and helpful. Nothing too much bother. We were dropped by a lovely driver, Amila, who is based in Anuradhapura but prepared to travel. He was with us for 3 days between Wilpattu and the Riverbank. Highly recommend. He really looked after us and we saw lots we otherwise would have missed. He was a very safe driver, kind and respectful of our privacy. My stay at Tearamb was incredible. The staff were very friendly and hardworking. The environment was so peaceful and clean. Especially nature lovers should visit. The natural pool was great. The cold nights blended with the warmth of the bonfire was so comforting. Early morning was so quiet and nice whilst hearing chirping of birds.

We stayed here for 2 nights as a base for exploring Kandy and Nuwara Eliya and couldn’t have asked for more. The rooms are very comfortable and the staff are so welcoming. The pool is a wonderful new addition - it was great to have a dip after a long day of sightseeing. But the best thing has to be the food. They ask you what you want to eat and then cook it for you. It was absolutely delicious and by far the tastiest food we ate during our whole two week holiday. The nearby Ambuluwawa Tower is well worth a visit (if you’re not scared of heights!) and make sure to ask the manager, Asoka, about tea - he’s so knowledgeable and passionate about it! He did a tea tasting for us which was fascinating. We’d definitely stay here again.

we came after a 17km hike on Pekoe Trail 3. The hotel is on the trail, so it was convenient. sadly, after a long hike, we didn't have sufficient hot water in the shower. staff was good and friendly, and the food was tasty.
