The rooms are basic and could be cleaner. The ensuite bathroom was a little smelly.

A place for relaxing. Taking it easy. Very far away from the city. If you book here, it should be after you are done with the city and are ready to chill and take your flight. Going back to City again is tedious due to distance.
A family space. Activities for the family. Kids can have fun too. The restaurant is quite good and service quite quick. Very helpful and friendly staff. More like a sleepy resort than a hotel in the city.

The accomodation doesn’t look like the photos on booking.com which is showing actual buildings, it is more like transportables (see my photo), with a arch shaped roof however they are air conditioned with private bathrooms and perfectly good for a short transit stay, and suit the pleasant weather in Sri Lanka. The staff are also very helpful land went out of their way to make the stay pleasant. The free airport transfer avoided hassles and was well coordinated. The food was to a good standard and well priced and we received a welcome drink.

The owner is helpful. But, he couldn't accept my visa payment card. It is too much difficult to pay the hotel room service. We can not pay by any electronic money like visa, master, american express etc. Only cash is payable.

They have two different type of accommodation, one for the locals and for foreigners, what saw in the pictures, not there when I reach the property. and when I enter the room was very dirty and unpleasant smell of smoke, then I immediately complaint about it, but no action took. The booking.com offered me this accommodation for 1850.00 per night but according to the care taker said, usually they charge 5000.00 per night and he charged me 2000.00 instead of 1850.00, The care taker Gamini was very humble and arranged me transportation to the airport too, but he is too old to take care the property, as I did not see any other helper to assit him.
This hotel is run by an extremely friendly and helpful team. They offer airport shuttle service free of charge, with possibility of collection and drop off during late night hours. The owner is very responsive and ensures you are safe and can feel like home. The rooms are clean and there's a power generator on site in case of an outage. You might also be presented with an option to hire a private and licences driver/guide, which I did and do not regret! Highly recommended. Thank you for your hospitality.
Our host was very friendly and welcoming, and recommended a great place for a Sri Lankan dinner nearby. He also drove us to the airport early in the morning.
The hotel is central while also in a quiet area, with a lush garden and surrounded by beautiful greenery. The room was large with an ensuite bathroom, both spotlessly clean. The the bed was very comfortable! A great, authentic place to stay in Colombo if you need to be close to the airport.

The hotel itselve is good! Airconditioned rooms with toilet and shower. The hotel provides breakfast, lunch and diner.
The housekeeper is a really nice man (prepares breakfast)! Great guy! In general they are all doing great. The son can guide you trough Colombo and they provide airport shuttle.
The hotel is small and quaint, run by a very kind and welcoming family, which was one of the highlights of this property. It is tucked away on a peaceful piece of property that takes you away from the sounds of the highway nearby. It is very close to the airport, which was the main reason we chose this hotel as we arrived on a late flight. We would return to this hotel if we return to Sri Lanka.
This is a comfortable small hotel and well situated for outgoing and incoming guests. The staff were friendly and accommodating and made every effort to make our short stay a pleasant one. The surrounding garden is charming and the rooms are spacious with an added porch area to make the most of the morning and evening quiet times. Very friendly owners. The hotel is located near the airport but there are no restaurants in the direct neighborhood. It has a beautifully tended garden that attracts lots of birds and squirrels. The bed is comfortable, the bathroom is of a fair size with good hot water. The hotel provides a hairdryer The A/C works very well and silently.
This is a great hotel but located in Negombo near the Airport. We were traveling for the first time to Colombo so we thought that the hotel was in Colombo. However, the facilities were great, the hotel was beautifully built, very good restaurants and a great staff. They also arranged for a airport drop at 3 am in the morning.
We stayed at this hotel arriving with a late flight and at the end of our holiday before the flight back. It is very easy to reach from the airport. The hotel is nice and clean and the owners will help you with whatever you need! We can only recommend it.
Diva Villa is a very good value for money hotel if you’re looking to stay short term for transit in Sri Lanka. The room is basic but has everything you need and is very clean and comfortable. And, it’s only 10 minutes from the airport so very convenient.
