Both the first, and the last days of our trip we stayed at this lovely place, where the owner himself grew up and developed these Eco lodges
We had a great time here because:
- Both the owner and the staff are super friendly, helpful and proactive. They all have international experience in hospatality.
- The cook can prepare wonderful meals, from Sri Lankan currys to European dishes. There is no set menu, but you are asked what you would like to eat. Everything fresh and delicious!
- There is a beautiful large garden, where they grow all the fruits and vegetables that are served.
- The stand-alone cottages are super clean and spacious, with all practicals like water, coffee/tea, fridge, safe, toiletries etc.
- Beautiful large pool, with lovely sun beds and towels
- Various possibilities for activities, from cooking courses to local trips
- Close to the airport, with good pick-up service
In short, definitely a place to book for several nights!

The house is clean, close to the airport but far away from Negombo beach. The bus stop is 1,8 km away. There is only 1 shared toilet/bathroom.
A family lives here too, when i was here, there were many kids living there as well.

It had really good potential for a really nice stay. The beds were comfortable and had nice rooms. And the property was well kept. The workers didn’t speak English very well. But the manager was very helpful.
