The hotel is located in a fantastic spot with a stunning view, including the distant Ambuluwawa tower. We had planned to stay for one night but the peace, great atmosphere, and view made us extend our stay for a few more days. The pool with its captivating view was enjoyed by adults and children alike. We traveled by tuk-tuk, and our advice to others is to use this mode of transport but avoid driving up the hill to the hotel yourself. The hotel staff can help you arrange this service. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. The food at the hotel restaurant was delicious.

We’ve stayed two nights at the Villa Pinnawala in Rambukkana, Sri Lanka, and it was such a pleasant experience. The staff was very nice and couteous, tried to help answering all of our plenty questions, assisted with getting a transport to our elephant ride and to an interesting tour through the spice garden. Furthermore, they also served us a delicious local meal with rice and different kinds of curries- YUMMY! what an amazing property. we were thoroughly looked after and nothing was too much trouble. the food was exceptional. we wanted traditional Sri Lankan curries and that’s what was prepared for us with spices and fresh herbs and vegetables from the garden. the rooms were huge. the gardens and views were stunningly beautiful and so quiet except for the sounds of the birds and monkeys. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻💕

The hotel is beautiful! The location is perfect, it has the view to the whole city and to the natural surrounding. People are so kind and polite. I would definitely love to come back here. I would reccomend this place to everyone visiting Kandy for few days.
