The staff were fine. There isn't really any interaction with the staff as you pay through a small window in the lobby.
They offered Netflix on the tvs in our room.
The shower is good. Clean stall, nice water pressure.
In the area, there are places to eat and drink at night.

The hotel has great service and accommodated our late arrival after midnight. The rooms were clean and the staff members were very courteous. We booked rooms that included breakfast and after selecting our options the night before, they delivered the food to our room at the decided time.

Jeonju is a great place to visit for the traditional Hanok Village. Everything is in an easily walkable area if you stay in the visit or come in for the day. There are plenty of things to see, including “hidden” areas one of the free tours will show you.

Jeonju has a nice preserved hanok hood, however, it is clearly gentrifying quickly and prepared for massive tourism. The rest of the city has little interest. One afternoon to walk in the hanoks and dine should be enough.

Really neat experience to get an idea about traditional Korean architecture and clothes. Obviously, the town has modernized to have coffee shops, etc., but the buildings in the city center have been maintained in a traditional style, and the popularity of renting the traditional Korean clothing lends a unique atmosphere.
We visited the Shrine, highly recommended. Nothing exotic, but good information about that time in Korean history and some of the events that made Jeonju what it is.
Some really great restaurants, look up best places to eat in Jeonju, we tried 3 out of the top 10 and were super pleased with all 3.
The traditional Hanok was a unique place to stay that was an inexpensive way to experience a little of what traditional homes were like. Obviously converted to hotel-type rooms, but the idea was there and it was a fun way to spend a weekend.
Highly Recommend!!

This was a really great opportunity to experience a historic aspect of South Korea. I enjoyed staying in a Hanok and I did a photoshoot in the Hanbok. It was like walking around on the set of a period piece.

Jeonju Hanok Village is a really nice place to visit, don't hesitate to get lots in the small narrow streets. Take half a day to visit Jamal Mural Village, it worth it for the paintings on the houses.
To eat I would recommand Jeondong Ddeokgalbi and Veteran restaurants, first one for bibimbap and 2nd for noodles and dumplings.

Nice mid sized city with a bit of open space along the river...
Nice mid sized city with a bit of open space along the river. Jeonju Hanok Village is worth a visit. Real touristy place but loads of people dressed in Hanbok so great place for people watching. Plenty of touristy souvenir shops if thats your thing. Plenty of Westeners and Chinese tourists dressed up in Hanboks which added to the people watching experience.
It is right near the main area of the Hanok village but in a street that doesn’t get too noisy or busy! It is very central and easy to get to most places and areas of Jeonju, and the traditional style Hanok feels very authentic and cosy. It has a tv, shower, bedding, and even machine for mosquitos. The owners are also extremely nice and hospitable, they give so much advice and recommendations, and prepare you for your journey back with a snack bag! Also the breakfast provided is very lovely. Would recommend again!
The hosts were so friendly and sat us down and took the time to mark all over a map with food reccomendations, sites to see, and the best place for Hanbok rental for the day, all with discounts that are only available if you stay at Jeongga Hanok. I 100% reccomend their business and will stay again if I ever get the chance to return to Jeonju. Such a lovely homely vibe and the location is terrific- within 5-7 minutes walking distance of the village but still quiet at night and not in the heart of the city.
It was a great time at this wonderful place. Owner was very polite, sent all details and instructions we needed in advance. Location was a huge plus since it was very quiet but also close to Hanok Village.
We had everything needed, house was well furnished, made with love and attention to small details like variety of kitchen utensils, air humidifier/purifier, capsule coffee machine, Dyson for hair (who cares about safe drying and styling), additional chargers and USB for phones, music speaker, etc.
Hanok Dream is in a good location in the Hanok Village. The room is clean with all the needed amenities for your stay, such as toiletries, wifi, hot shower, ac, heated floor. When we stayed, our room is sandwiched between another room with a family with 2 kids, and a group of 5 friends, but no problem with the noise inside the room. The owner is very friendly and communicated well to us how to enjoy our stay in Jeonju. Will definitely recommend this place to family and friends.
It was a perfect location to look around Jeonju in the middle of hanok village.
The place was cozy, the owner was very nice. A cute breakfast was prepared between 8-9am which was included in the experience.
Private bathrooms were there so it was easier for the stay. Free fast internet, microwave, mosquito repellents, amenties were all provided. It was a good value for money.
Location could not be better. It is really in the hanok village. It is a traditional hotel with a nice garden where you can sit and relax. The room and bathroom were clean and we had enough room. The futon are thin, so this is something you have to take into account if you are not used to sleeping on the ground.
Nearby are restaurants and convenience stores.
We spent a night here to visit Jeonju. Amazing position, since it is right in the middle of the Hanok village! The host was extremely kind and helpful, the place was very well managed and beautiful. Sleeping in an Hanok stay it’s an experience everyone travelling Korea to discover its hidden soul should have, and this place it’s really recommended!
Guesthouse owner was so kind to let me change my stay 1 night shorter and welcomed me with big apples and a pear. The room and bathroom were clean. Loved the shampoo and conditioner provided. Location is right in the center of the Hanok Village. Great value for the price. Will stay again if given the chance to come back to Jeonju.
The host was very nice. Very welcoming & explained to me the facilities in detail. Breakfast was very nice, light & healthy, really enjoyed it. Location was really good! Located in the middle of Jeonju Hanok Village. Surrounded by shops, restaurants, a lot of cafes & so on. Photogenic area.
The property was really close to the Hanok Village. There were many stores and restaurants nearby. The beds were comfortable enough. The owner was very kind and helpful. He had a friend that gave us a free tour of beautiful places in Jeonju. I would recommend staying at Nearest Guesthouse.
The area is amazing. It’s right next to the Gyeonggijeon Shrine and in the middle of the Hanok village. The entire area is very walkable and the bus connection is great as well.
The yard of the property is amazing and I enjoyed nice mornings having breakfast outdoors in the sun.
The owners were very kind and accommodating! Freshly made breakfast in the morning while looking out into the hanok was an experience that can’t be beat! The location is right in the heart of the hanok village too, so we were within walking distance to all the sights in Jeonju.
The staff was very friendly. They let us check in early and recommended places to see and eat while we were in Jeonju. They also called a taxi for us to get back to the train station. The hanok was beautiful and the location was ideal to explore the hanok village on foot.
Clean and tidy room at a good price. Ideal place if you are after somewhere to stay for a few nights. Big tv with Netflix. Typical love hotel in an area full of love hotels. Reasonably close to Jeonju Hanok Village. Easy 2-3km walk, or bus is about 500m away.
Beautiful Hanok located in Jeonju Hanok Village.
Amazing, super friendly and helpful host.
Incredible experience of staying at the traditional Korean House and feeling like a kdrama character.
Close to many cafes and restaurants.
I really loved this guesthouse. The owner is a very thoughtful and kind man. The location is perfect. The hanok village is very close, as well as a nice shopping/restaurant area. If i ever Come back to Jeonju i would book again!
Everything!
Beautiful Hanok house, warm welcome by owner & his family, quite location but still easy accessible to the main attractions around the Hanok Village.
Nearby Jeonju Stream where you can take a stroll along the stream.
Perfect place to stay during visit Hanok Village Jeonju. Nice room with new bathroom. Very nice owner that accepts early check in. We have great memory from this magical place and friendly people.
The staff was super friendly and accomodating - felt higher than a 3-star service for sure! The location is what makes this hotel - the view of the hanok village from the rooftop pool is gorgeous!
