This was a very nice hotel with a resort like atmosphere. The room was very comfortable with a relaxing balcony view. The buffet breakfast was very nice and appetizing. It contained a large variety of dishes to choose from. The swimming pool was very nice and one of the better pools I I’ve seen at a hotel in Korea.

I liked this hotel because of that woman, who was at the reception. She was so attentive and careful. There was a cleaning every day and a great view from our window. There were a lot of cafes and restaurant near the hotel. Our room was clean and cozy.

Great if you like seafood because there were few places that offered other than seafood. Most of city opens or comes alive after five pm. Mornings are rather boring except for a boat tour and one museum. Expo was in 2012 which meant most of the center was closed or abandoned.

There is so much to do in this beautiful seaside town. From walking along the beautiful promenade to attending the incredible expos close to the station, there is a good balance of a peaceful seaside town (with an island you can walk to) and busy activity.

Stayed for 3 days and had a pleasant trip with my girlfriend. The city is very quiet and much more laid back. The people are super friendly, especially all the taxi drivers. They were very kind in giving us some background information about certain sites and offering us tips on where to go eat and such. Enjoyed the trip!

I loved the food and proximity to public transportation which made moving around very easy. There are plenty of movie theater options (major release films are in English), there is more than enough shopping to satisfy every type of shopper. And overall the city is a great place to stay and see and acts as an affordable home base which is close to the rain and bus stations so you can take day trips to the other cities and still have a central location to come back to.

I visited the Buddhist hermitage, Odongdo, the black sand beach & went on a boat trip to Geomdo, plus I spent many hours walking around Yeoso town. It is particularly lovely at nightime. Seafood lovers are in for a real treat!
